Just heard Ed on Big Top 40 saying that he will be repackaging the album that’s coming before his tour so presumably next year with the tracks ‘Penguins’ and ‘One Life’ from Yesterday that never got released. He’s also re recorded ‘Everything Has Changed’ for Taylor’s version of Red.

I see Ed has reduced his song to 59p must trying to get a few extra download sales

Him and his team definitely knew that the interest wasn’t quite there as much as the start of the Divide era and have been trying to build interest. I think if he had went from the last Divide single until now without releasing much there would of been more hype. The fact he released the collabs album and the Stormzy feature and they were still hovering in the charts last year as well as ‘Afterglow’ he hasn’t really went away since 2017. So it’s doesn’t feel like the big comeback like when ‘Shape of You’ was released. He has been going for 10 years though so his popularity has to go down eventually and he’s not exactly got a flop single on his hands it’s still massive.

Kind of sounds like a cross between Fun ‘Some Nights’ and Gary Barlow ‘Let Me Go’ to me. Quite liking the original version to be fair it’s definitely catchy.

‘Fear for Nobody’ deserves to be top 10 instead of ‘Beggin’ it’s such a tune.

Think it’s more to do with the song. This probably would still be doing as well without David Guetta tagged on to it.

I like how Ed has jumped on the Friends bandwagon. The snippet does sound promising though so I’m looking forward to hearing it.

Next single ‘September’ out 11th June

Just watched some of Ed’s Big weekend set and he said the first single was supposed to be out already and was going to be performing it but it wasn’t ready in time.

Surprised there’s no new Ed single this week with his Big Weekend performance.

Surely we must be due a year the BBC actually try. 2011 was the last time I can remember when there was a lot of hype around Blue and they really promoted them and Eurovision that year. They didn’t quite get the result but that was down to the jury’s more than the televote but still a decent result.

Really liking the album the only thing I would of put a couple of the uptempo tracks nearer the beginning. Changing of the Guard, Somewhere Along the Way, Alone and Lightyears are the stand outs for me though.

Really liking this, probably the best song so far from the album for me.

Loving the new song easily his best since ‘Chasing Yesterday’. Kind of wish the Greatest Hits was more like Stop the Clocks and had a few album tracks. ‘ You Know We Can’t Go Back’ is one of my favourite post Oasis singles so would of liked that to be included.
