Harry Styles - Golden
darrens94 posted a post in a topic in Harry Styles and One Direction's Harry Styles and One DirectionHarry is doing incredibly well with his post album singles especially since most artists have to release a remix or add a feature on to have a chance of making it a hit nowadays.

Ava Max - My Head & My Heart
I’m really liking this. I do think this will be massive in the new year
-
Miley Cyrus feat. Dua Lipa - Prisoner
Yet Lil Nas X gets added to A list on his first week. As I’ve said it’s not the best but they are two big current artists so would think it would be on the playlist on release week.

Miley Cyrus feat. Dua Lipa - Prisoner
Bit underwhelmed by this. It’s alright but nothing compared to ‘Midnight Sky’

Good to see McFly in the top 10. ‘Tonight Is the Night’ is a brilliant tune
-
Gerry Cinnamon - The Bonny
‘Ghost’ is an absolute tune MqTO7LyLrfQ
-
James Arthur - Back from the Edge
Acoustic version of ‘Train Wreck’ out today and original added to Apple Music’s Today’s Hits playlist so seems it’s properly being pushed now.
-
McFly - Young Dumb Thrills
Not sure why the last 4 songs are basically only sung by Danny but they are the strongest for me especially ‘Wild and Young’.

Is their any reason for that Conor Maynard cover of ‘You Broke Me First’ being so high?
-
Becky Hill - Space
Has this been speeded up on Apple Music or am I going mad?
-
CamelPhat - Dark Matter
‘Not Over Yet’ is definitely the stand out track for me. Should of really been a single.

Coronavirus Discussion
Maybe wanted his dinner first
-
Royal Blood - Typhoons
This is brilliant
-
Meduza feat. Dermot Kennedy - Paradise
Hope this is good! I always though Dermot’s voice would sound good on a dance tune
-
Biffy Clyro - A Celebration of Endings
Orchestral version of ‘Space’ out now and it’s sounding brilliant. Amazon Music exclusive though. xSBelw5CzI8

Not really wanting to start a debate but if I was talking about say Ed Sheeran and called him she by accident would you really go out your way to correct that? Probably not.

Sam’s 2nd album hasn’t even sold half the amount his debut did and that was just the same sound. I think Sam needed to change direction to keep any sort of interest. The second album really only had one proper hit single from it and didn’t have the same sort of longevity as their debut.

You would think from the sales of Sam’s first and second album they would be guaranteed the number 1. How things change. No artist seems to be able to keep the momentum going like Adele and Ed Sheeran who have only got bigger with each album. While artists like Sam and Emeli Sande haven’t managed to match their debut.

Not A Pop Song • 1st Instant Grat
Let’s be honest they knew exactly what publicity those lyric’s would produce. Leona Lewis has always seemed to stay on good terms with Simon after she left the record label and was a guest on X Factor numerous times as well as being a judge with him after she left so she couldn’t have that much of a problem with Simon.

Not A Pop Song • 1st Instant Grat
I do think it’s a shame they had to reference Simon Cowell for a bit of publicity. When that’s the sort cheap tactics Syco and Simon would have done.

Not A Pop Song • 1st Instant Grat
This song is nothing groundbreaking but my god the chorus is catchy. I’ve had it stuck in my head since I heard it this morning. The Simon says lyrics are clearly there to generate publicity though.

Gary Barlow - Elita (feat. Michael Bublé & Sebastián Yatra)
The song itself is quite good the problem is that it doesn’t sound anything like a Gary Barlow song so it could be putting a lot of Gary Barlow/Take That fans off. It sounds more like a Michael Bublé lead single. Then again what is a Gary solo song supposed to sound like as his last album could of easily been a Take That album.
