37. Sum 41 – Motivation X-iBGSLkfCU This was one song that didn't feature on a NOW album. When I first downloaded Sum 41's 'Greatest Hits' back in 2010 I had not heard this song for a long, long time. Memories came flooding back and I became reminiscent of the 'mosher' boy I once was way back in Primary School. 38. Feeder – Just a Day 3wzqGI_4fIM This song I first discovered when my friend and I were cruising down the motorway and this song popped up on his iPod (being plugged into an aux, of course). This song was also repeatedly played in my regular night club that I attend, and I never even knew what it was. When my friend told me the name of the track, I instantly looked it up and had it on for days. It's still floating around my top 20 today, racking up 10 weeks in the charts, the longest run to date! 39. Blur – Parklife SIEsmGzo2UE Not really sure when I discovered this song for the first time as it got to No.10 in the UK charts in '94! I guess I didn't really discover it properly until early 2008 when I started to grow fond of the Now That's What I Call Music series and heard this on volume 29. I really enjoy the cockney accents used in this track, very lad-ish. Know what I mean? But it's more than that, it's a bit of an anthem about your everyday life which makes it all the more relate-able. First scrobbled: 11th October 2009 Plays: 54

40. The Mighty Mighty Bosstones – The Impression That I Get NIGMUAMevH0 This song I first discovered when I was 8. When Digimon mania was around during the early 2000's I went to the cinema to watch Digimon: The Movie. This song was featured in it, albeit all too briefly. Rediscovered this when I became nostalgic about Digimon back in 2010 and have been enjoying this song ever since. Hey guys, I understand I don't post much around here and when I do, it seems to involve music that none of you know about, or heard of. But I would really like to make a post celebrating five years of using Last.fm. A website which 'jots down' all the music you listen to. On the 7th October this year, I'd have been using the website for 5 years, and my music taste has varied over the years. To date, I have listened to 143, 316 tracks and have 'loved' 1800 of them. Of course, charts showcasing my all time favourites will be in another topic a bit further down the line once I've been a bit more of a serious member here. It'll be a top 40 countdown, so it won't be as lengthy as other 'Best Of' charts, but it'll still be fun! I'll be commentating each track and talk about how I got into it and why, making for a very interesting read. But I was just interested on your opinion? Would you like me to show how my tastes have changed over the past few years and how diverse and open-minded I can be?

Thanks for the response, appreciate it! Bette Davis Eyes is a classic! Discovered it on an advert a few years back, though what for I can't quite remember! Let me know if you know! Toot Toot Sonic Warrior was the main theme song for the EU/JP soundtrack of Sonic CD. As opposed to Sonic Boom which was used for the US soundtrack. Yup, the game had two soundtracks which are both awesome! Digimon was childhood favourite, bought the soundtrack back in January for nostalgia reasons! Paperboy is an obscure classic, discovered on NOW Dance '93 (I think?). Had my iPod Classic on shuffle when it came on, have loved it ever since.

I noticed that. That's why I joined. Then as soon as I did, the forums started declining, fast. Nowadays it's rare to see a comment.

At the time this was big, the slow sound kinda bored me. Looking back, it's a nice chillout track, but it still doesn't do much for me, IMO. This album's special as it was the first NOW I bought when it was new, a few months before NOW 69 was out! 20 volumes later and I'm still collecting the series. Also, this was out when I first joined the original NOW forums, waaaay back in 2007!
