n4yr's ranking of every UK #1 since my birth
Haha, loving it! Good to see the Axel F at this placing! I remember buying the PS2 game for this damn frog. Flat Beat is also another one of my favourites, and for the reasons you mentioned too, nice!

Jade's Top 200 Songs of All-time
170. The Kinks - All Day and All of the Night (1964) - Another quality tune by The Kinks. I really appreciate Kate Nash's cover of this from her Death Proof EP. 168. Armand Van Helden ft. Duane Harden - You Don't Know Me (1999) - Now 42! - Also, what a club banger! 167. Kaiser Chiefs - Everyday I Love You Less and Less (2005) - Now 61! - Also, one of my all time favourites by the Kaiser Chiefs! 165. Scissor Sisters - Filthy/Gorgeous (2005) - Now 60! - Also, one of my main favourites by the Scissor Sisters, such a fun track! 164. Lana Del Rey - Born to Die (2012) - Now 81! - Also, this is another great song. I appreciate the dark theme and moody lyrics. 163. The Beach Boys - I Get Around (1964) - What a band! I love this sound of the 50's and 60's! Such great surf music! 162. Snow - Informer (1993) - Now 24! - Scribbybopdoobelamonaleo! I licky boom boom down! Such a bad interpretation of the chorus! - Great song though, nonetheless! 161. Rachel Stevens - Sweet Dreams My LA Ex (2003) - Now 56! - Also, this came out of nowhere after S Club had split, haha!

I agree with you on the audience cheering. It's like they're celebrating the song with the singer! Not a big selling No.1 for 2000 but a great House tune nonetheless!

180. Natalia Kills - Mirrors (2011) - Did you know that she was previously Verbalicious in 2005? Known for the hit 'Don't Play Nice'! See: Now 60. ;) 179. Basshunter - Now You're Gone (2008) - Now 69! - Also, early-mid 2008 was special for me as it was my last year of High School! This choon brings back memories! 178. The Kinks - You Really Got Me (1964) - I agree with you on this one! What a band! 174. The Ting Tings - That's Not My Name (2008) - Now 70! - Also, another corker. Shame they didn't get any bigger after 'Shut Up and Let Me Go', great band! 172. Gramophonedzie - Why Don't You (2010) - Now 75! - Also, this. Never knew this song had so many fans despite its peak and chart run. Bought it on iTunes when it was released. I love this kind of stuff. Works really well back-to-back with 'We No Speak Americano'! 171. Sam Sparro - Black and Gold (2008) - Now 70!

Jade's Top 200 Songs of All-time
No problem Jade! I own the CDs from volume 21 to the current one, volume 88. Pretty much my entire life up to now in music. The history has taught me a lot about pop music! :)

n4yr's ranking of every UK #1 since my birth
Love this song! Also, most songs from the 'random reggae explosion' were pretty sweet. Songs like 'Compliments On Your Kiss', 'Baby, I Love Your Way', 'Sweat (A La La La La Long)' etc were absolute scorchers of tunes. Brings me back to my very young childhood days!

Some great tunes, but my personal pick of the bunch has to be Cornershop - Brimful Of Asha (Norman Cook Remix)! Looking forward to tomorrows set!

Jade's Top 200 Songs of All-time
200. Mason vs. Princess Superstar - Perfect (Exceeder) (2007) 199. Altern 8 - Activ8 (Come With Me) (1991) 193. Fatman Scoop ft. The Crooklyn Clan - Be Faithful (2003) These are my key favourites from this 10! Love it! I wondered why Activ8 was there as that faded away when the old skool rave scene died! Be Faithful is a summer choon! Loved it when I was 11, 14 and even to this day it's still a cracker! Perfect (Exceeder), yup, bit of a guilty pleasure. But it works well alongside Bodyrox feat. Luciana - Yeah Yeah!

Tylky's Chart - Week 2 (w/e 27.7.14)
These songs have staying power. Plus I put it down to the way I produce the charts - based on my Last.fm listens within the last 3 months. Gives them a bit of longevity! As for the No Devotion track, not yet. Although I'm very glad to see they're back and showing their musical faces. They're a brilliant band, just gutted about Ian Watkins. :\

Surprised to see 'Back In My Life' in the top 10! I always thought it was under appreciated! Gutted that my 11 rating went to a song peaking at No.31. 'The Launch' is a classic and would have been great for the millennium party! But, I'm also chuffed to see S Club 7 in the Top 5. My childhood right there!

Imagine if Ben was the killer? That'd make for some interesting aftermath! How old's the character now? EDIT: I see he's now 17/18. Two kills and he's just become legal to drink alcohol, nice!

Tylky's 1st Chart (w/e 20.7.14)
No Doubt are awesome. Funnily enough, I got into them when I discovered it was their cover of Talk Talk's 'It's My Life' when it was first released, bought their Greatest Hits on CD and have loved the album since!

n4yr's ranking of every UK #1 since my birth
My school actually took part in this. I think I was in Year 4 or 5 when they wanted us to record for it! I find this one particularly nostalgic. Anyways, great list so far and a great read! Looking forward to some more!

Well, I've pre-ordered my copy from ASDA in the UK. Apparently, if you pre-order with them within the UK, you get it the Friday or Saturday before release. Will give my own ratings once listened to the album in full.
