If she gets top 3 here that’ll make up for it x The deluxe is down to #23 on Amazon and the standard is #56 but I’m not too worried, webstore sales will be most important and she’s only behind Metallica and Gregory Porter out of the new releases. Question, as Small Talk and Never Worn White are only on the deluxe physical edition of the album will they count towards the streaming?

Now THERE it is, I feel excited about this era for the first time since the album release! She served choreo. I loved the nod to 911 (hint towards Single 3 or just for the fans?), Rain On Me was electric to watch (and Ari held her own) and the costumes and set up of the performance slayed. WD Gags :clap: And the performance version of Stupid Love shits all over the original, release it Gags To be fair, I don’t think supporting BLM, looking after your health and promoting an album have to be mutually exclusive. Katy has done all three of those things at the same time.

I think she’ll deffo get top 40, possibly something similar to Bebe’s Expectations album but having said that it’s almost top 200 on Apple Music already and she hasn’t done badly on the iTunes pre-order chart for all that means. At best she could perform like Lauv’s album and scrape top 10?

I’m finding a lot of the reviews very inconsistent and unfair but Katy’s never gotten a good critical reception so I’m not bothered. Much. Even Teenage Dream got a meh reception from critics (OF COURSE when it smashed they suddenly changed their minds and put it on the decade-end lists)

I’ve never been huge on Pandora and AS1 didn’t help that (even if she hadn’t been paired with Mimi I doubt she’d have got very far), but that might’ve been a little harsh.

Idk what the vote on here will be (even on Buzzjack, how many of y’all know Meghan Trainor album tracks) but this is actually really hard for me :lol: Champagne Problems is ridiculously catchy and should’ve been a single but the lyrics aren’t great, they aren’t amazing on Katy’s one either tbf. Katy’s has that similar house sound (that I LOVE from her) and packs a bit more of a punch and builds up a bit more over the song. Went for Katy :cool:

I’ve just skipped to ‘Love Is Religion’ because I heard a snippet of it and it is GORGEOUS, exactly the sound I’d imagined when she announced this club project :wub: I’ve listened to about half the tracks but I can already tell this is way more enjoyable as a full piece (Levitating remix still meh though) so at least I can appreciate this project even if I won’t necessarily return to most of the song individually.

There’s really no need for Jan, Plastique, Kameron or Silky to return imo, not this soon for Jan at least and I like the first two of those. Sorry I just really wanted to see Jessica and Dida lmao :( The majority of the cast coming from two of the weaker seasons (imo) isn’t it.

No matter what the charts show, I think this era has restored a lot of goodwill amongst the GP towards Katy even if she’s not the hitmaker of the 10’s. Such a contrast from the backlash she received during Witness for...idek now lmao which was horrible to watch.
