I get this, but the vast, vast majority of hit singles are pre-album and will be pushed to radio, if this rule came in then Jax Jones isn’t gonna not push their next single to radio and not call it a single. I’m sure their could be criteria for a single aka it’s sent to radio, added to hot hits etc

All I’d do for the singles chart is change the ‘cut off’ point for a stream to count from 30 seconds to 1 minute. For albums, only album tracks would count in terms of streaming (there wouldn’t need to be any downweighting) This would pretty much wipe out old Greatest Hits albums from the chart unless they got good pure sales. If albums as a whole are being listened to than the album tracks rather than the singles is a better representation of its popularity imo ^_^

The thing is I acc like Mabel, I own the album (the actual original one, Version 1 of 5000 ) and it's a fab listen but it makes you think, when will it stop? It genuinely wouldn't surprise me if she tacked her second album lead onto High Expectations as well :') It doesn't affect my enjoyment of her as an artist as I'm sure it's label driven and artificial chart runs are hardly a massive deal in 2020, but meh it's just annoying lmao. What I would do with the albums chart is that instead of the 12-track rule, all songs that are registered as singles would be counted out of the album streaming total. This would actually show who's listening to the album. I know sales would dive-bomb but I'm sure they could fiddle with the ratio or something ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The album is held in such high regard for the singles, but I feel like there's so many gems alongside them; Peacock (not sorry), Circle The Drain, Pearl, Hummingbird Heartbeat and Not Like The Movies are all wonderful pop songs :wub: The album as a whole actually deserves more recognition I'd say

Absolutely SCREAMING at Mabel adding Tick Tock to her album :') I know they won't but surely they have be considering doing something about this? Here for High Expectations to beat 21's sales because she eventually adds every song ever recorded onto it x

Nope. They're considering masks for S4-6 but we're in different classes all days. It did say they'd do physical distancing where possible amongst older pupils but we've had none of that.

My primary school had a staggered lunchtime as well by like 2009 :lol: It’s been nice seeing people really, I’m not sure about the chances of us making it to Christmas without closing are though.

Everything’s felt pretty normal. There’s a one way system but it’s the way you’d probably go anyway for most places. The only differences really are they’ve staggered timings so S1-3 and S4-6 have separate lunchtimes and periods and you have to clean your desks when you come in to classrooms. And use the most disgusting hand sanitiser I’ve ever smelt x

The measures are often contradictory, I’m at school with 1100 pupils not distancing at all but at the same time I’m meant to social distance from anyone not from my household? Even most of the staff haven’t been distancing lol

I don’t think Club Future Nostalgia is getting a physical release though, at least not immediately. With all the bundles she has I’d be surprised if she didn’t at least challenge for #1
