My primary school had a staggered lunchtime as well by like 2009  It’s been nice seeing people really, I’m not sure about the chances of us making it to Christmas without closing are though.

Everything’s felt pretty normal. There’s a one way system but it’s the way you’d probably go anyway for most places. The only differences really are they’ve staggered timings so S1-3 and S4-6 have separate lunchtimes and periods and you have to clean your desks when you come in to classrooms. And use the most disgusting hand sanitiser I’ve ever smelt x

The measures are often contradictory, I’m at school with 1100 pupils not distancing at all but at the same time I’m meant to social distance from anyone not from my household? Even most of the staff haven’t been distancing lol
  5. Yeah if they can have Karim Zeroual, Emma Weymouth and Vick Hope HRVY shouldn’t be too much of a stretch  I hope it is something like that, him to part of the first same-sex partnership with AJ please (ik AJ left but who gives)
  6. Idc it’s generic af but I love it (minus the rap)
  7. It’s very cute. I’m loving the more mature, self assured Katy this era. Daisies is in her all time top 10 for me and I’m not sorry  I really think we’re gonna get a good album!!
  8. He’s said there’ll be more new songs on it, there couldn’t exactly be less tbf
  9. I actually think she has a shot at #1. I agree, I wouldn’t be surprised if this performed similarly to Brightest Blue.
  10. Album delayed to November 20  He literally would’ve got a top 5 album at least ffs
  11. I don’t think Club Future Nostalgia is getting a physical release though, at least not immediately. With all the bundles she has I’d be surprised if she didn’t at least challenge for #1
  12. BRIGHT LIGHTS IN THE GOOD LIFE KEEP CALLING OUT MY NAME AND I PRAY SOMEHOW, SOMETHING'S GONNA CHANGE Poundland Written in the Stars but a bop

The right decision, teacher grades aren't always perfect but no other option was fair or viable. As a pupil who has the privilege of going to a very good state school (I deffo wouldn't have got awarded B in Maths if I came from a deprived area, I only got 39% in the prelim/mocks) what is worrying some of us is that the huge increase in pass rate (in Higher its gone up by something like 14%) will increase competition for university places and jobs and potentially cause employers to disregard results from this year. In a normal year my Higher grades alone would probably be enough to get me into Uni, one of my friends the same age as me is starting next month but now the advanced Highers are more important than ever.
  14. I actually think she'll be in a battle for #1 with HRVY

Almost half of even Labour voters supporting, wow.
  17. I listened again and the first verse is not bad but it feels like the production actually goes DOWN in the chorus
  18. I heard the first few bars and thought 'we're in for a f***ing treat' and then...the other 3 minutes happened. Honestly, what are they thinking pushing this as a single? The production is fine for maybe 30 seconds but completely one-note, it doesn't progress at all. Where's the melody :( I didn't think Madge sounded great either oops, Missy gave a good verse but the production ruined that as well. The sheer monotoneness. This is exactly it  It's like a random remix chucked out as part of a Singles EP. I can't believe Hallucinate was doing so promisingly with no Hot Hits and it'll be sidelined for this, hopefully it'll still get pushed. I hope this remix album doesn't put a dampener on the whole era :(
  19. The increased support for indy is lovely, but I can't help but worry it's all meaningless. Bojo has no reason to budge on Section 30, his 80 seat majority only includes 6 Scottish seats. I know he has no principles but i can't see him wanting there to even be the possibility of him being known as the PM who ended the union (ironically half of Tory voters would vote for England to be independent :'))
  20. To be fair, right wing parties with nationalist rhetoric are doing well almost everywhere right? It's not a uniquely British problem, not like me to defend England lol but it's a Europe-wide problem. I'm not complaining but that seems weird to me, as the mood amongst my peers is about 2/3 anti-Indy (pro EU as well though). I do live in a Seat that voted 64% No though so shrug

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-nort...etland-53751678 Three people dead :( Just a 20 minute drive from my home, it's crazy. Thankfully no one else in hospital from this has serious injuries but still what a tragedy :( It's such a dark time for Aberdeen and the North-East right now. There's the local lockdown, which has caused several well loved local businesses to close permanently as they just couldn't cope anymore and all the job losses from that, the downturn in oil price which again threatens so many jobs here, we didn't properly recover from the last crash and now this.
  22. Tbh 5.54 isn't a terrible average for WBM given all the hate it gets on here :kink: A bop idec.

I think that's more for the younger years, by S6 most classes have less than 15 pupils in anyway. None of us here have a clue how it's gonna work lol, we're having an induction on Friday.

In Scotland we’re meant to keep distance from staff and also social distance where possible, ie smaller class sizes and in the corridors.

I know, but it wasn’t really enforced between teacher and pupil either.
