We have a local lockdown in Aberdeen and still barely anyone is social distancing eek. I went into school today for a meeting with my guidance and it wasn’t being enforced.

It’s ok to not like it, but not ok to $l*t shame or judge the women involved. I don’t remember your individual posts on the issue so I’m not saying you’ve done that but it definitely has been happening.

The only thing I slightly agree with Sammy on is that I don’t feel it’s always what the popstar wants, to be sexual. For example when Meghan Trainor did the NO video, that seemed very unnatural for her and more what her label wanted her to do. But for lots of singers it IS empowering, we only have to look at Cardi, Nicki, Bey, etc. They’re owning their sexuality and making the rules. I can only speak for myself but that empowers me and loads of other people I think. Stop shaming women for showing their body 2020 edition. Singing about the human body and the act of sex is not trashy. And as others have pointed out, Jason Derulo literally made a song called pussy (in Spanish), where was this OUTRAGE?

Commercially and critically Witness was a huge fall from grace for Katy but do we all feel the same? For me it's a good album, and better than Prism. Sure there's some inessentials like Into Me You See, Save As Draft, Bigger Than Me but lots of gems alongside the singles- Hey Hey Hey, Roulette, Power, Tsunami and Act My Age are all wig moments :cheeseblock: I think the branding of the album as purposeful pop damaged it because people were expecting a quasi-political opus and that didn't really happen.

So schools are definitely opening in Scotland in two-three weeks, for the last time I'm coming back from the summer on Friday 14th then it'll be full time. It seems we will have to social distance as much as possible outside the classroom, I guess we'll have bubbles we won't have to in.
