38.4k for the week, 25.5k on the first mids. I'm just hoping for 10k+ tbh
  2. That AM album chart is verrry interesting for a chart nerd :') What surprises me is ANTI is Rihanna's highest album by over 100 places, but last time I asked it hadn't been in the Top 200 albums chart since March 2019 while Loud and GGGB had.
  3. (01. Popular Song) 02. The Way (03. Almost Is Never Enough - underrated as f*** fave!) 04. Right There 05. Baby I- All good!

Bricks (w/ Tommy Genesis) [8/26] 34. Flash Pose (w/ Pabllo Vittar) [9/26] I Love It going out over 2/4 of those songs...a choice!
  5. Album out August 28 and he's just said on insta live that NEVERMIND is coming Friday *.*
  6. @1284973996644212736 Yeah I'm no expert on this either aha but ik Dua wouldn't mean anything dangerous
  7. 38.5% of the voters NOT going for Break Free #lockthemup
  8. Projected for 15-18k in the US, with 7-8k being pure. Delirium did 61k in Q4 so it's not good but not...the most horrific thing ever I don't think? If she gets 18k that's a 70% drop from Delirium, if she gets the same in the UK she'll debut with 11k here.
  9. Coming for that Mabel chart run :cheeseblock: 6/19 songs being new is...a choice, on the other hand it is bop after bop so listening to it is gonna be an experience *.*

It was (Nicola's Beat Of My Drum lost out majorly </3) but only for a few months I think? You're thinking of the wrong decade with the Elvis #1's

2014 was the year I started following the chart, I remember so many of those hits  Me & My Broken Heart, Problem, It's Ma Birthday (:cheeseblock: :cheeseblock: :cheeseblock:) Ghost, Your Love, Right Here, Sing, Chandelier well basically everything in that top 40 slays lmao. Ellie for #1 *.* Streaming was included at this point in 2014 but pure sales were still at a high level, enough that songs moved far more fluidly. Downloads being held back meant it wasn't uncommon even in 2015 for big hits to do 100k in a week. Iirc it was only after OA/OS was introduced with the Friday chart move that downloads REALLY collapsed, as they weren't getting those big Week One numbers anymore.
  12. To be fair Lewis is still high on the sales chart so the album as a whole is clearly being used by some people  Don't get me wrong guys, I love Mabel but the rules are unfair.
  13. Tides goes ballistic, my new fave
  14. While I do agree that the singles chart is broadly representative of the top played tracks, I can’t say the same for the albums chart. The likes of Mabel, Jax Jones and Becky Hill (and I love all three of those artists btw and Mabel’s album is fab) albums are charting for months and months with no sign of slowing down despite not many people being interested in the actual album as a whole, looking at the streams the non-singles get. My solution would be to not just exclude the top two tracks, but any song released as a single at any point. I mean you could say labels would cheat this by pushing songs on Hot Hits but not officially ‘releasing’ them but there’s few post-album hits anyway. Obviously only album tracks being counted would make album SPS numbers even lower than they already are (maybe like 90% lower in some cases oop) so to counteract that the ratio for album tracks would be reduced from 1000 to something that ensures sales aren’t horrifically low, I don’t know actually how much removing singles would reduce album streaming sales so idk the ratio I’d have. If this rule came into force the chart would more resemble ALBUMS that people are listening to, not singles. This might be totally impractical btw, I’m not an expert :kink: What would you do if anything?

So apparently when school comes back in Scotland on August 11 there'll be no social distancing AT ALL between pupils and I'm not sure how I feel about that tbh, it seems off.
  16. RAYE up to #183 on Apple, it's lowkey going viral on TikTok as well.
  17. Boom Clap by a country f***ing mile
  18. Km3agvlyRmM 06. Doing It (feat. Rita Ora) [7/18] 07. SuperLove [12/27] 08. Gone (w/ Christine & The Queens) [5/15] 09. Boys [8/30] 10. Famous [6/23] 11. Focus [9/22, 8/23] 12. You (Ha Ha Ha) [9/22, 15/23] 13. Nuclear Seasons [7/24] 14. White Mercedes [6/16] 15. Claws [10/20] 16. No Angel [7/21, 5/16] 17. 5 In The Morning [7/21, 2/16] 18. What I Like [9/25] 19. Stay Away [7/15, 8/13] 20. Out of my Head (feat. Tove Lo & ALMA) [8/19] 21. Blame It On Your Love (feat. Lizzo) [5/14, 5/15] 22. Girls Night Out [5/14, 10/15] 23. I Finally Understand [6/17] 24. Forever [7/17] 25. After The Afterparty (feat. Lil Yachty) [9/27] 26. Bitches (w/ Tove Lo, Icona Pop, Elliphant & ALMA) [5/21, 13/18] 27. Spicy (w/ Herve Pagez & Diplo) [7/21] 28. Flash Pose (w/ Pabllo Vittar) [9/26] I can't get over when they performed this on Graham Norton and even though it's Charli's song, he asked her ZERO questions and Rita got top billing :manson: Issa bop though.
  19. Closing at 5pm, last minute votes ^_^
  20. It is, but I find myself not as bothered by the floppiness as I was during Witness. Probably because that was more of a surprise as we’d always only known her as this massive #1 popstar and now I can accept she’s on the level of like Xtina after Bionic.

It’s a shame she felt the need to do all that screeching in PCD that would make Jessie J retire, because when she restrains she acc sounds quite nice and has a lovely tone to her voice: 4V61K_fGRwc

While we wait for a new single I feel the need to say Carnot Bachar is the most underrated girlband member of all time like what the f***? I love her voice so much, she actually got a whole verse on their cover of Tainted Love *.* An actual verse :cheeseblock: w37thYX6aYM Obviously Nicole is the only one with a ‘superstar’ voice but honestly I don’t think the other girls are bad at all, apart from Kimberley maybe. Carmit, Jessica are more than decent vocally, Ashley has her moments too. Melody always gets the title of 2nd best behind Nicole for some reason but I prefer Carmit/Jessica.
  23. Ladywood. That is all.
  24. 11. We Don't Talk Anymore (w/ Charlie Puth) Average: 7.83 Now I can't get you out of my brain: Cameron (11) Dexton, JosephStyles, Wall (10) Should've known your love was a game: Tawdry Hepburn (1) blacksquare, George.keh (4) Selena collaborated with Charlie Puth on 'We Don't Talk Anymore', and they also dated, I recall him being sexist about her also but I can't seem to find it :drama: WDTA is a 2016 tropical pop song, and was a long running hit both sides of the Atlantic peaking at #9 in America and #14 here. This somehow passed me by entirely at the time and getting into it for this rate I found it enjoyable, not essential but a nice piece of tropi-pop. I'm not even sure this would be top 30 for me lmao let alone borderline top 10, but there's no accounting for taste. But yeah, this is a nice chill track and the best thing I've heard from Charlie definitely. Top 10 Bad Liar Come & Get It Good For You (feat. A$AP Rocky) Hands To Myself It Ain't Me (w/ Kygo) Look At Her Now Lose You To Love Me Love You like a Love Song Naturally The Heart Wants What It Wants Look At Her Now, Naturally and THWWIW up there Coming over the weekend.
