Little Mix: The Search • Episode 07
I feel the names of the bands are all terrible ngl  it’s like the names they’d give the losing band in Popstars The Rivals. They deffo made the right decision in the sing off, Melladaze aren’t the best vocally but performed better and have a way better chance of actually being successful.

Coronavirus Discussion
The weird thing is that even in Scotland Level 4 restrictions, the top tier, schools will still be open as usual with no social distancing  The only difference is that shielding pupils will have to stay home. I don't want school to close but it doesn't seem sensible at all

The Official Labour Foot-Shoot Thread, Mk II
The Tories are inhumane c***s, and you're not that much better if you willingly vote for them after this.

I don't like the artwork at all oop Like you said Jade, the filter is off. The top left picture of your second tweet would've been magnifique :(

Which Confetti era track is your favourite? • So far
1. Sweet Melody 2. Break Up Song 3. Happiness 4. Not a Pop Song 5. Holiday I love the top four, even Not A Pop Song. Holiday is a little generic, I haven't gone back to it much tbh.

But they were both successful? Two #1 albums that have gone gold in 2020. One is just more successful and had more staying power. Ed Sheeran’s + was more successful than Taylor’s 1989, but they were both huge successes. Two albums by women doing well aren’t mutually exclusive x I feel this is going round in circles so imma pull out there

You can come up with whatever methodology you like girl x Payola doesn’t hurt. But if you’re trying to say the success of Don’t Start Now (for ONE) is all payola then you’re just acting a fool, it connected with the public in a way Gaga’s singles didn’t. And that’s not to say they did badly, just the public connected with Dua more this era. No amount of Payola or promo can make a song stay in the UK top 10 for 25 weeks or whatever. Dua only released one more song prior to her album than Gaga, so any streaming advantage was negligible. As said already, both are very successful albums and we don’t need to be offended at one doing better than the other.

I would pull out the chart runs both sides of the Atlantic to prove you wrong, but that’d be more effort than I can be bothered x Just because Future Nostalgia did better doesn’t been Chromatic did bad. Both were successful, one more than the other.

Future Nostalgia is clearly the more popular album by a mile, there's no need to be so butthurt over it~

Meduza feat. Dermot Kennedy - Paradise
The Meduza remix of Power Over Me has been on repeat all year for me, Dermot's voice is perfect for Meduza's production  HypedT.

CD available for £2.99 on her UK store, we’re getting a physical album next week folks :cheeseblock: Ariana said imma keep CD’s alive singlehandedly! Ordered mine, hopefully it ships before I die x

She is BACK Tbh it’s very chill, slick R&B and I can’t see it being an Ari fave on here but I was loving it by the end, it’s catchy as f*** and has a lot of replay value. It’s very of the moment too, idk if it’ll stand the test of time like her pop songs (it’s deffo not in the league of Into You, No Tears, God etc that are timeless career definers) But who cares it’s an absolute BOP and I was wanting to dance during the last chorus. It’s gonna be HUGE

I Love It ● 1st Instant Grat
Lost Without You, lemme go and play it :cheeseblock: I don’t get the poorish reception for I Love it at all, it’s the most instant song from the era for me on first listen! I love it, I love it, I love it is stuck in my head, give us that replayable bop Kylie
