Mine is obviously a based on my username (which is based on my surname) but also did it to link in my liking for telling a story If I was to choose something again, errrmm something like Keynesonia (after my hometown) or the obvious one, CHASmania

Some options I’m considering for next contest I was always thinking of repeating Valencia but clearly going pop is a risk in BJSC

So based on how I felt after semi final results I left it a couple of days before listening to the songs in the final And now I feel sucky again - I clearly would have qualified (and possibly quite comfortably) from the other semi final results :(

I genuinely don’t - people just made a joke of it and I rolled with it. At the time I was frustrated at multiple NQ’s and I responded to that in not the most productive way… I really appreciate your unique take on the contest :) Saying that I think your entry this time is light by Eledan standards (which also means I could point you!)

Alas it wasn't to be NGL - this NQ hurt. Whereas with Salt Ashes I sent something I liked that I thought would do well, I genuinely loved this song and thought it could be a big result for me. Think I'm going to get to a round 20 contests and then stick to the anonymous ones. At the least I'll also stop attending listen throughs because it's seriously giving me anxiety (and I don't want to feel like I'm seeking approval)

Thanks for the responses guys :) I do all mine blind and sometimes get a nice surprise, but for the most part see similar names at the end (including one tbh that I’d rather not see as I don’t think they’re very nice!)
