Scott Mills sacked from BBC Radio 2 over 'personal conduct'
At that’s me misreading then. We defo need more details…..

The Pop Factor: Season 2 • Live Show Two: The Ballads of a Broken-Hearted BuzzJack
Awww was hoping Haim’s song would be Summer Girl but don’t think it’d have fared any better

Scott Mills sacked from BBC Radio 2 over 'personal conduct'
I don’t know why but this made me think of the big case that was in the news a few years back - the newly married almost 30 year old, who was pursued by a student. Instead of doing the right thing and saying ‘no I’m married/im your teacher/this is wrong’ he reciprocated and tried running off to France with her….all the time i just thought of the poor wife

Scott Mills sacked from BBC Radio 2 over 'personal conduct'
This maybe sounds different because it was reported back when it happened - so maybe not as consensual. Either way it’s going to have ruined his career My worry is that this will be an easy route to homophobia for sections of society (you know, the people that said nothing when Saville et al was in the news but were all over Schofield)

Scott Mills sacked from BBC Radio 2 over 'personal conduct'
I should add - maybe I’m numb to stuff like this. My mum/step-dad were 21 & 47 when they met. My best friend from school also got married at 17 to a 29 year old (although I had/have numerous issues with that)

Scott Mills sacked from BBC Radio 2 over 'personal conduct'
I guess they have to act on it based on lack of action on previous cases… But I need more info. Scott would have been 24-27. How old was the teenager and what were the circumstances?

Scott Mills sacked from BBC Radio 2 over 'personal conduct'
I hate stuff like this - I feel like not giving a reason straight away fuels the homophobes out there and gives them ammunition to assume

The Pop Factor: Season 2 • Live Show Two Results
Gutted at those two eliminations The Corrs was one of my fave tracks from that round :( Nelly Furtado - one of my all time fave artists but a couple of interesting choices along the way! Scissor Sisters being bottom 3 also :(
-
The Pop Factor: Season 2 • Live Show One
Abba - classic Delta Goodrem - underrated gem The Corrs - beautiful song Haim - solid pop song Scissor Sisters - see above! Atomic Kitten - forgot this existed! Chappell Roan - good song David Bowie - love the hook Conan Gray - decent Nelly Furtado - not a fave of mine but decent Kelly Clarkson - one of her weakest lead singles for me Troye Sivan - ok Florence - also ok Rosalia - nice but didn’t get into my head Lily Allen - like the lyrics and the topic should be spoken about more but couldn’t remember the song after

Herbs Ranks the 2008 #1's
Thanks for all the lovely comments - yeah I do like to share why songs resonate with me! Jade, I have questions! When did you work there, did you work in the old two floor store or the smaller one when it moved?! Did you ever get sick of hearing certain songs in stores?
