Herbs

I would say if we have a redemption round it’s one act from each category. Just to avoid multiple female artists getting back in

But you didn’t send Sugar Water….

The second song last year saved my arse after people didn’t vote for Goodbye Earl. I’d be mad at myself if I went out first round this time!

Expecting to finish last with single figure points. Let’s see shall we!

I actually don’t understand why people are rating that so low!

Hoping some of these songs will be growers - a lot of new stuff for me to get stuck into :)

First listen through of all the categories and have to admit, this is the one that most intrigues me. There is so much depth here and artistry Also - I know this is a pop contest but I wish people would pay attention to the emotion in a song sometimes. Glad to see some people are :)

But do you think others will have the same opinion?

Those choices from Marina and Dido ❤️

Cherry Cola I can see Hold Me feels like previous pop songs predicted to win and then finishing in the 6-10 finisher range

I think I’m actually worried for my 1st choice (which I didn’t get), so maybe a blessing in disguise?!

Len

There are artists that in the grand scheme of things haven’t released that many albums! So the idea of unknown categories would make that interesting to see what those artists send

I would agree on Joy Formidable if the song was 1/3 of the length.

I would looooove to beat my previous best of 15th but I always under perform against final predictions (that 15th seems to be the exception!)

See now I thought Liquido sounded like a runaway winner

Excited to see what songs have been selected - especially for Jessie, Marina, Damien, Adele, Leona

Deepest Blue

Gone for the 4 piece Mis-teeq entry

Almost? So which songs do you think are bad?!

Oh that reminds me - was there someone who refused to vote in one of the categories last year? And if so, do they have an entry this year?

So my first choice was sent by someone else Second choice hasn't appeared! And I promised Wardy that I wouldn't send a group this time......

FYI to counter some comments - there are a lot of Lewis & Tom G songs that I adore. I will be rewarding their awesomeness if these songs are chosen :)

Yeah this does feel like the women will dominate

Ooooh hello, someone else took my first choice. I hope they do well with that artist :) Already a couple of my all time fave artists here....and that pic of Tom G, think I need a cold shower
