This has been such a joyous contest for me Great theme, sooooo many good entries, where I literally panicked after the first couple of listens wondering how I'd figure out what to vote for. But should have known with this genre that the songs can take a few listens to sink in! Great winner and so glad I voted for the top 3 Again, thanks to anyone who showed Alanis some love. I need to study my second half vote collapses - bar a couple of exceptions it happens every time First 14 votes - 66 points Next 13 votes - 10 points I think I choose songs that appeal to early voters and less so the later ones.... Thanks All Star though - pretty sure that's not the first or even second time their guest votes have helped me!

Phew! Now I can finally talk about it after Matto has been fangirling my song all week! It is one of my all time fave songs and is my fave Alanis song. I thought it was a risk sending it, as it's not as instant as some of her other songs. But those lyrics and that instrumentation never fail to give me the feels. And I am the acoustic king after all. Also need to apologise to Matto - I literally had his entry as my 11th place :( Thanks to all who showed Alanis love. I stopped watching The Voice because they produced no long term music stars (Becky Hill is kind of in spite of The Voice for me). X Factor had ended the same - the music industry and the buying/streaming public has moved on
