Herbs

Na they can back away!!!!

Oh, I must have misread previous comments - two x 1 points from the 2 nations I thought may give me podium finishes. Please let me finish 4th now please :)

Damn, these current votes are leaving me drier than the recent heat waves we've been having....

Was about to say I'll graciously accept 4th (over the moon with that), but there are 2 voters coming up who could bring closer to the top 3 again! Loooving that top 3 though

Phew! Now I can finally talk about it after Matto has been fangirling my song all week! It is one of my all time fave songs and is my fave Alanis song. I thought it was a risk sending it, as it's not as instant as some of her other songs. But those lyrics and that instrumentation never fail to give me the feels. And I am the acoustic king after all. Also need to apologise to Matto - I literally had his entry as my 11th place :( Thanks to all who showed Alanis love. Also - I had to rush send my votes, my commiserations were: Stina Ani DiFranco Scott Walker Jewel Fish Buffy Sainte Marie

Goes to add 'acoustic king' to my signature........

I stopped watching The Voice because they produced no long term music stars (Becky Hill is kind of in spite of The Voice for me). X Factor had ended the same - the music industry and the buying/streaming public has moved on

Wow the top 2 pulling away. I am loving both doing so well, as I had thought it'd be a Kate Bush vs Dolly Parton battle

On it!!!

Expect at least Kate B to catch the top 4

It is a nice surprise to see that current top 4. I did not expect the top 2 to do this well!

Would not have pegged GD for that one!

Oooh the Leonard track was the one that took a bit more time to grow on me - but found myself singing along to it in later listens And also - come on GD, keep the Herbs love going!

Ooooh great host choice - that was a nice discovery for me

Should have been 2nd if the semi final begging hadn’t happened 😜 (I am over it, I promise…)

Also just realised Aimee is stuck on 1 point - wtaf?!

Ooooh I wondered who sent Rufus I did look at his first album stuff for this contest but couldn’t commit to a song

I hope this makes sense but nice to see a vote that has a lot of the male artists in it. I find this genre to be a wealth of treasure from all genders (whereas other spin off contests tend to have a gender bias)

Here’s hoping 🤞

You guys all talking about who you think people are and I’m sat here reminding myself I know nothing about anything!

They are adorable - really go with the theme

Oooh nice to see Melanie with the early lead

I’m just gutted that I Will Always Love You will not get its time to shine

I think that makes sense for Mango - I tend to like their entries

Ooooh didn’t think I’d make the results but couldn’t be fussed watching a Boyzlife set so here we are….
