100% on No Doubt and Aerosmith for similar reasons. Such a shame Amy Winehouse is most known for a cover, but it is an amazing cover. I personally think of other songs for Lana Del Rey (Video Games, Born To Die), but the Summertime Sadness Remix being big did echo the examples I gave above for Sarah McLachlan & Tori Amos

Yeah from memory they definitely had a great team behind them, that made hits out of good but not great songs/covers

Steps’ biggest streamer is 5,6,7,8 - which I’d say is far removed from the sound that then gave them longevity
