Wow yeah your local one is a big one! Mine gets 200+ on a busy day. It is hard to get out and run during the winter, especially the bit where you're waiting for it to start and you're just shivering! I need to get sub-24 minutes this year (my PB is 24:04) and I've been averaging between 24-26 minutes lately.

This perhaps perfectly sums up frustrations I have had in past competitions. A vibe but repeated 100 times does not make a good song. I try really hard not to be rude about those entries/people who vote for them, but at the same time I question the choice to give those songs points over a song that has layers/clearly sets out to have a structure.

Sadly the BJSC crowd didn't see the appeal to this song (although 5 people voted for it out of 25). Still a pop banger with an iconic chorus. Defo want to see some more new music from Alexis.
