iTunes Album Chart now totally meaningless, nothing to factor in how long an Album has been available pre-Order. Likely Albums recently made Pre-Order will be higher than Albums with a long period of availability to order.
  2. The Rolling Stones - Hackney Diamonds [20th October]

Come on Tears For Fears! Think they may just get the #1.

https://kworb.net/charts/aitunes/uk.html Adele back to number 1 on iTunes, guess The Weeknd will have enough with streaming this week to hold off Adele.
  6. The Weeknd dropping a new Album “Dawn FM” on Friday!
  7. I went for Abba a month ago but thinking now Rod Stewart’s chances are higher, he has a perfectly timed Graham Norton Show appearance on Friday and looks like he is giving this Album a big push!
  8. ABBA night on BBC 2 next Saturday night should help that second week
  9. Big news for Tears For Fears fans: https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/t...ogether__34185/
  10. Also that week Damon Albarn is following up a debut solo Album which got to #2. Given the busy Release week think Damon might be lucky to get Top 10.
  11. Tough one to judge but probably Ed.
  12. Yes I also went for The Script given it is their first compilation Album and 5 out of 6 Studio Albums made it to the top. I am slightly surprised by the really low Sales for Genesis compilation this week but I guess they have released a few compilations over the years!
  13. There is an 'Outsider' released that week...by Roger Taylor! In fairness he has only made the Top 20 Albums once before with a Solo release but surely in current climate will do this time! As for next week that is looking a really low Sales week unless there is a surprise Release.

Still see enough on the Release Schedule and also Olivia Rodrigo's Album to keep number 1 Sales above 10k over the summer. In other words and even though we are in Olympic year :) I don't think we will get close to a new record low!
  15. Well it happens every four years and it is nearly upon us...feel like we are in for a bumper year of new lows!
