Really appreciate the work that has gone into compiling these estimates over the years, I have always enjoyed seeing the movement especially in the last month of the year. It has become increasingly difficult to maintain accuracy and your decision is totally understandable.
  2. Well he is performing at Reading Festival next month and a new Album is rumoured to be soon! Suspect not before November though.
  3. A few from The Eighties: Tears For Fears - Songs From The Big Chair Duran Duran - Rio Culture Club - Colour By Numbers Adam And The Ants - Kings Of The Wild Frontier Along with Madonna seems like the Eighties was a time when the second Album was a chance to build on a successful Debut Album and push for global success with the second.
  4. I think this Release is another wise one for Liam in the context of establishing him as a Solo Artist with longevity, he is appearing with a lot of credible artists so far (Quavo, Ed and Zedd 😐 ) and the fact he appears not to be the lead Artist this time will probably mean he will get another Single out before the Album.

JAY-Z now number 1 on iTunes.
  6. Performed on 'The One Show' tonight!

Ed possibly didn't get the boost we were all expecting, he has climbed to #2 but the Foo Fighters are remaining firm at the top (at the moment). Six songs from Foo Fighters' Greatest Hits Album in the iTunes top 100 also suggests they had the biggest Glastonbury impact this weekend.

Similar story to Lorde, it was on the red button last night and 45 minute show is available on iPlayer.

Another Glastonbury boost (and rare UK dates this week). Foo Fighters have made it to top with their 'Greatest Hits'. Wonder whether it can stay there until Ed's set

Changeover all ready, 'Now That's What I Call Summer Party 2017' top on iTunes and Royal Blood top on Amazon Best Sellers. Foo Fighters next to top both charts?

It was on the red button last night, is available on iPlayer and highlights shown also - but I think you are right, looking more like Top 15.

Currently at 13, a bit disappointing after a friday appearance at Glastonbury - will be touch and go whether stays Top 10 overall. Royal Blood, Radiohead and Elbow showing massive gains after last night though.

Imagine Dragons still top since yesterday morning but unsurprisingly Radiohead top on Amazon Best Sellers after last night's set, suspect we may see a fair big of changeover this week in both charts.
  14. 'Writer In The Dark' is definitely Kate Bush-inspired, love it!
  15. Wouldn't be surprised to see Ed release 'What Do I Know?' officially this week, special Glastonbury version?
  16. George Ezra performing on "The One Show" tonight, much needed boost, may be enough to secure a Top 75 placing this week?
  17. Video for BOTW getting aired tonight on ITV1 at 7:25PM ( before Coronation Street ), a prime time airing should maintain the momentum.

Yes, Royal Blood on top still, think they will comfortably make it number 1 overall.
  19. Agree with supporting the good cause but the choice of song is too easy and Predictable, Simon may have forgotten that 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' was used on The NHS Choir Christmas number 1 in 2015 ('A Bridge Over You'). Appreciate time is of the essence but surely they could have used another song.
  20. Release is expected 14th July (according to iTunes), in fairness it is coming up as only £3.00 Pre-Order price for me (as I bought AICTAIY) and you get different mixes of SJLT and Hypnotised. It is true though there will only be one new song left to be Released!
  21. New Killers single 'The Man' out later in the week.

Great stuff, clear number 1 for London Grammar then.

Yes, would be a shame for them if they are runners-up again (after they released their Debut Album in the same week as Arctic Monkeys' 'AM')
  24. I think there is a lot of twisting what is being said in this thread and probably should be brought to a full stop on this topic. Credit should go to Ariana Grande for putting on a superb event, given the circumstances she handled the day fantastically with a lot of class. Credit should also go to all the Artists for giving up their time and contributing to a great Concert.

Ed back on top with the Deluxe version of Divide, that's five Albums (that I can remember) that have been top at one stage or another this week, alt-J, Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande, Oasis and now Ed. Add to that another two albums that have been at top of Amazon Best Sellers (ignoring the preorder Albums as well).
