  1. It would be ludicrous if it was Ludacris!
  2. Non-Disclosure Agreement.
  3. Yes, it was also used in "Cold Feet" on Monday (as was Ed Sheeran's Bloodstream)
  4. You may have a long wait for that, he is still in the hunt for a distribution Partner.
  5. Travis Scott and Frank Ocean still in the "Coming Soon" section (Albums) can be removed.
  6. That's a Yes then!
  7. Will James Arthur knock The Chainsmokers off the top spot before Calvin or Emeli?
  8. Unless Calvin Harris gets there beforehand...

Album Sales are diminishing but the Album format will survive. If anyone doubts the Album format suggest they tune in to the Mercury Prize tonight when the likes of Radiohead, The 1975, Skepta, David Bowie, Laura Mvula will be competing for the top prize - credible Artists getting the recognition they deserve because they make consistent, cohesive Music with a theme that rewards people that invest the time to discover their Music.
  10. Also Frank Ocean – Blonde is out :)
  11. Curious that Tinie Tempah – Youth has been put back to 3rd February but I guess the poor performing last single has something to do with that. It does leave the 16th September a little short of Major Album Releases.
  12. Travis Scott - Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight all ready out (number 1 on Billboard 200 and number 19 in UK)

Yes, agreed - I think the run-in to Christmas this year will be a big test. In recent years the number 1 Album in the few weeks before Christmas has been clear-cut however this year I think it is looking a bit more unpredictable (I guess there will be a hope that Emeli Sande comes back and sells Albums in the quantities she did with her first Album). One of the most significant Album underperfomances in recent years was Take That in terms of Sales and I also think Robbie Williams will struggle to sell anywhere near what he did in the past.
  14. Emeli Sande has announced her new single 'Hurts' will be out on the 16th September.

Next Week Album Release Schedule includes Celine Dion as well, it is like a Las Vegas Artists special week with Celine, Britney & Barbra...
  17. Yes, should do although given the timing of the Closing Ceremony (ie early hours of Monday morning) it may not be the biggest audience to give it a huge boost.
  18. I guess there will be some additional promotion this week in advance of the appearance at the V Festival but I think in terms of getting to the Top the price reduction has come a week too late - a definite missed opportunity to get that number 1 peak.
  19. Probably not but it is surprising she has not achieved a number 1 given the number of Albums she has released over the years.
  20. Maybe but her quest for a UK number 1 Album will continue.
  21. 7,948 is the new low. See you in 4 years.
  22. Frank Ocean is apparently releasing "Boys Don't Cry" this weekend in which case Dolly may be denied. After that the Release Schedule is picking up (it was mentioned earlier in the thread that Britney was coming for that number 1 at the end of the month, suspect Barbra will outsell her that week though). This thread will be over this afternoon :)
  23. Yes, suspect she will be in the running, wonder whether an Olympic Closing Ceremony Performer will be in the frame as well or Andre Rieu who even has an Olympic themed Album out (sorry to continue to milk the theme but it is the Olympic thread)
  24. tommie might just be right that streaming (ie Drake) might just save this week being the lowest selling for Albums but surprised not many others were on board with the possibility of this happening for the chart announced on the 19th August.

    2. PARTYNEXTDOOR - P3 - surprise new release, potential number 1 overall. 6. THE 1975 - I Like It - price reduction to £4.99
