  1. Such an eclectic bunch of Artists releasing new material this week, should be an interesting week (in the iTunes chart at least).
  2. What? Thought Adele was releasing...
  3. ....and the iTunes Album Discussion thread points to the 2018 discussion !

Agreed , easy win for The Beatles.

Kanye West Album was originally scheduled for release today but seems to have been delayed - not untypical for one of his releases... Hardly a dead week, I think The Beatles would have triumphed anyway!

Repeat of the Channel 5 Documentary "Adele: In Her Own Words" on Sunday. Good to see Lana still at #1.

You could be right, hadn't factored in the devotion of the Kylie faithful.

Suspect Lewis Capaldi will triumph overall this week, Kylie would have had a better chance with new material, a twelfth compilation Album is pushing it a bit for me. Personally looking forward to see the impact The Cure performance has tonight, one of the best Live bands over the years and their classic Songs have stood the test of time.

  11. Can't believe the Article didn't mention David Guetta & Sia although don't blame them in trying to recreate the magic of 'Titanium' (counted 7 songs although some are Album tracks).

On reflection you could be right, Bastille don't seem to be holding up as well as I thought.

Think it will be a Top 3 of New entries with Madonna finishing third.
  14. This sums it up for me and may explain the lack of love from some, they have used an All-time classic without the coolness of the original.
  15. Saw Little Mix perform their new single on The One Show, a little underwhelming in my opinion. After the previous era it was entirely predictable they would come back with a well known sample, love a bit of Soul II Soul and 'Back to Life' was a class apart.

Bruce #1 now but Madonna likely to reclaim top spot later tonight (after her appearance on The Graham Norton Show). Personally would prefer Bastille to get the number 1 overall (their set in the Isle Of Wight Festival is on Sky Arts tomorrow night).
  17. June the 21st.
  18. It is a new Documentary but wouldn't be surprised if they have re-used some material from previous Doc - incidentally there is a repeat tonight at 6pm.

    Indeed - especially as a quiet week for big New Releases. 5 Adele - 25 6 Adele - 21 13 Adele - 19

P!nk back to top all ready, suspect she may grab a second week at #1 overall.

Richard Carpenter was on The One Show on Monday, didn't see though, not sure what he was Promoting.
  22. 10,000 Maniacs / Natalie Merchant , one of my faves , sadly never got a Top 40 Single from Tigerlily or from her previous career with 10,000 Maniacs (highest peaking Single was #47).
  23. Understandably Louis Tomlinson has pulled out of a Performance tonight on Comic Relief following young sister's death.
  24. I think it was more of a hiatus for five years (2014-2019) but oddly they did reunite during that period.
  25. Keane are performing on tonight's Comic Relief, will be surprised if they are not launching a new Single.
