  1. Totally agree - fundamentally they are trying to do the right thing but the way it comes across is money grabbing. The irony of discussing Tidal in the iTunes thread, I guess Tidal is not established enough yet to have it's own thread :) right back on track with the iTunes Weekly Thread...
  2. Shame they are compromising the success of Artists in the chart to promote Tidal. Beyoncé to have a similar Release strategy as Rihanna?
  3. Yes, Adele showing Rihanna again how a Release campaign should be handled.
  4. I think Rihanna dropped work for a couple of years (which may explain why it took 3 years to get the Album out)... Be hilarious if ZAYN stops them all :D
  5. First Live Performance on UK TV after Live Lounge yesterday as well. "Stitches" may drop to 4 this week but wouldn't be surprised to see it a fixture in the Top 5 for a few weeks yet
  6. 7 Justin Bieber - Love Yourself Bieber out of the top 10 by the weekend ? 3 or 4 immediately below are still climbing...
  7. I think the Albums Schedule is missing some weeks (22/1, 29/1, 5/2, 12/2 and 19/2) ? Apologies if this is work in progress
  8. Pet Shop Boys' thirteenth Studio Album "Super" has been confirmed for April the 1st. https://twitter.com/petshopboys?ref_src=tws...erp|twgr^author Keeps up the trend of one word titles.
  9. Well they are new songs if we classify new as 10 weeks or less on chart but nothing that has been released in 2016 has surfaced yet in the upper reaches of the Chart.
  10. Ellie's "Army" on the march up the Charts (after the Video release earlier).
  11. Someone at ITV obviously likes Ellie, Three years ago they used "Explosions" (before it was announced as a Single) to promote "Where Drama Lives". It could be argued that this revived the "Halcyon" campaign at the time (second single "Figure 8" had peaked at 33). I have been surprised at how poorly "Army" has done so far but we should not underestimate those behind her to make a success of the "Delirium" campaign.
  12. A little interest in the back catalogue of Bryan Adams this morning after last night's Concert at Westminster (broadcast on BBC One)... Surprising to see a song that peaked at 42 outperforming a song that was number 1 for 16 weeks... Happy New Year Everyone btw.
  13. Great Stat that fchd, I guess in the age of streaming and songs staying around in the chart a bit longer this has helped but impressive nonetheless.
  14. Anyone prepared to put money on a Justin Bieber 1-2-3 ? It really could happen.
  15. As it's X factor final night "we all want a bit of narstie"
