James Morrison up to #3 after appearance on BBC Breakfast this morning, seems to have stepped up his Promo as it looks like he will miss Top 10 overall - really should have deferred Release to next week.

Tom Walker back to #1, his appearance on 'The One Show' last night will have given the Album a big boost.

Big Week Of Releases and a bit unpredictable as well, hope Sigrid triumphs overall!

Album Sales on iTunes must be so low these days that snippets of music on TV can push Albums up the lower reaches of the Top 500 - tonight a question on Pointless Celebrities on Country music seems to have boosted Glen Campbell (#77), Lady Antebellum (#149) and Faith Hill (#158) as well as Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash.

Agreed, must be their biggest Seller - Spirit Of Eden up to #2 now, quite impressive really!
  6. Both seem appropriate as a Tribute , also "Such A Shame" springs to mind as well - a massive shame that he went 20 years without Recording anything.

Some Talk Talk Albums starting to make an impression on iTunes chart after the sad news that Mark Hollis has died: (EDIT) - Apologies for the indulgence of another update but I was a fan and impressed to see the level of the interest in Talk Talk's Recording output: Now, 4 Talk Talk - Spirit Of Eden 13 Talk Talk - Laughing Stock 16 Talk Talk - The Very Best Of 19 Talk Talk - The Colour Of Spring 23 Mark Hollis - Mark Hollis 31 Talk Talk - Essential 110 Talk Talk - It's My Life (Remastered 1997) 210 Talk Talk - The Party's Over 308 Talk Talk - Natural History - The Very Best of Talk Talk 320 Talk Talk - Asides Besides
  8. Talk Talk's Mark Hollis has reportedly died, aged 64. Sad news, a great talent who had been quiet for many years. "Life's What You Make It" to possibly enter iTunes chart?

1 Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper - A Star Is Born Soundtrack After the Oscars this (and Bohemian Rhapsody) should make Top 5 overall again this week.

    1. Giggs - BIG BAD... Not many big Releases this week, wonder whether this may challenge for #1 overall.
  11. The Greatest Showman was premiering on Sky today, suspect that has brought a whole new audience.

Should boost the Album but I didn't think it was their best performance (of 'Greatest Day').

Not in Top 10 of Amazon Best Sellers though which doesn't bode well for it's chances of big Sales.

Hard to predict the overall winner this week as Mumfords are top of downloads, Buble top of CD charts and LM will have best streaming.
  15. Slow start for the clear favourites, suspect it is going to be a close call this week!

"We still finishing things up" apparently. December looks a better option I would have thought.

Muse #1 and #7 now - looking good to deny Olly Murs the outright lead in most number 1 Albums of the 2010s period.
  18. Little Mix - Woman Like Me (feat. Nicki Minaj) back to 99p, thankfully looks like the campaign to get it to #1 is officially over.

Paul Weller up to #16 in eighth week of release - boosted by broadcast of Concert on BBC last night.

Got as high as #78... Royals was a #1 though!

Movie release starting to have an impact: 2 Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody (The Original Soundtrack) 4 Queen - Greatest Hits 5 Queen - The Platinum Collection 54 Queen - Greatest Hits II 58 Queen - Live At Wembley Stadium
  22. Take That are favourite but Cliff Richard seems to be outperforming them with pre-orders, can't see Take That sales being as high as some have suggested.
  23. Won't happen but would love The Good, the Bad and the Queen to triumph, previous Album peaked at #2 but realistically best hope for new one is to get a Top 10 placing.
  24. Coldplay Live In Buenos Aires due on December 7th.
  25. LSD apparently have an Album (also called LSD) scheduled for 2nd November - only source I could find though is The New York Times so may not be that firm.
