Unsurprisingly Stormzy has made it to the Top position on iTunes - also up to 4 on Amazon Best Sellers! Rag 'N' Bone Man still selling well and will provide the main competition to Stormzy this week.

As Ed performed "Castle On The Hill" at the Brits (as well as "Shape Of You") what chance it climbs to number 3 to secure the Top 3 this week?

Seven tracks on the Album but the first song is a sprawling 21 minutes long, does sound more like a Soundtrack than a regular Album. The Ballad of Jimmy McCabe’ is the song with Paul "in more familiar territory". I would have thought there is still enough for Paul Weller fans to secure a Top 10 placing.

"Blackstar" by David Bowie was back up to 54 in Monday's Album update presumably on the back of the success in last weeks Grammy Awards. Wonder whether it will get an additional boost tonight on the back of possible "Brits Best Album" Award ( the competition this year is The 1975, Kano, Michael Kiwanuka & Skepta).

There is a "British Breakthrough Act" Award tomorrow night at the Brits for which Stormzy is nominated, given the Release date of the Album wouldn't be surprised if he wins (he has competition from Anne-Marie, Blossoms, Rag 'N' Bone Man & Skepta).

They are in the middle of a mini Tour in the UK this week!

A seventh week at the top for "Shape Of You" looks assured. The fact "Castle On The Hill" is down at #5 leaves the Top 3 Ed wipeout still in the balance but there will still be the boost from Ed's Performance at the Brits on Wednesday night - think he will probably still pull it off this week!

Apparently release was brought forward "due to a leak", it is welcome all the same.

Before that, Ed's Album is out in 2 weeks so the Ed wipeout will be in 3 weeks time!

How many CD's do we think Take That will sell this week (given CD1 is 16 in the Amazon Best Sellers and CD2 is 24)? I guess less than 10k.

I agree re TT, they should still be strong enough for a week - Q1 has been fairly strong for new Releases, James Blunt, Depeche Mode, Zara Larsson, Tinie Tempah & Paul Weller would probably challenge for the top spot if they had held back to Q2 or Q3 but they will probably all miss out.

Think you may be forgetting Stormzy's Album - released on the 24th February. I agree re Rag 'N' Bone man holding on this week though. BRITS week is traditionally a week with no major releases although the fact that the ceremony is on Wednesday Evening reduces the impact on this week's chart.

I thought they were performing (with Robbie) the following weekend during the Final? Would be a bit much to perform this weekend as well...

Yes, looks like they are going all out to maximise it's chances of a decent chart position - they are even releasing 2 CD singles, it's been a while since we have seen CD2 on the release schedule. Also a special one-off Performance the following week with an appearance from Robbie.
