01. Ruti - Dreams Fantastic for the youngest winner of The Voice and a fitting tribute to Dolores.

Well done to Ruti, she richly deserved to win this series of The Voice. For me 'Dreams' was the stand-out vocal performance of the whole Series. Sure it will decline at a fast rate at some point today but I will definitely download at some point as I think she has a very unique voice (which Tom Jones was the only one to turn for in the blind audition). We know from previous Series that winning is unlikely to translate to much success in the Singles chart but people are a little too keen to write off Ruti's longer term chances, I personally think she has a chance to sell Albums in greater numbers than previous winners.

Kylie on The Graham Norton Show tonight should help maintain momentum for 'Golden' , wouldn't be surprised to see her on The Voice final tomorrow as well.

I actually think it will - it's out 2 weeks after Ezra and I can't see much else competition other than the steady sales of TGS and E.S.

Eleven weeks in this run to be replaced by George Ezra but likely to return in April/May as the release schedule of Albums is as light as I can remember. Wouldn't be surprised to see it get 15+ weeks overall.

I am guessing The Greatest Showman has all ready overtaken the Sales of La La Land which would be quite an achievement all ready - seems the writers of both (Pasek and Paul) have another musical lined up next year as well (Aladdin). In terms of bigger sellers over the year I am hoping the Arctic Monkeys can come back with a classic!

4 Simple Minds - Walk Between Worlds Holding up very well so far, should be on course for a Top 10 placing overall may be even Top 5, not bad for an Eighteenth Studio Album. Reviews will certainly have helped interest with some of their older fans.

I agree, I think the quality of the song has been a bit underestimated by some (may be because it is not a style of music that is current) and also I give credit to those behind her, she performed on The One Show this week which kept the momentum going, I wouldn't be surprised if they have more Promo lined up next week. Also I have heard it played on Capital which can only bode well for long term success as they have a tendency to play songs for months.

Curious there is also an Elvis 'Close Up' box set available from the same date (6th April) also costing £3.80, may be a new Budget Collection of Re-Releases.

A bit of an oddity in the Amazon pre-order chart, current #1 is 'Born To Run' 30th Anniversary Edition by Bruce Springsteen for £3.80, it is odd because there has all ready been a 30th Anniversary release for this Album so this is a re-re-release, clearly a mis-price.

#15 for the Deluxe Edition and #33 for the Regular Edition of 'The Architect' is a decent boost, would it expect it make it Top 10 overall this week.
