'Empty' sounds alright actually, but I can't see myself liking this album much more than their last one (which wasn't bad by any means - just that it wasn't quite as good as its predecessors). I'll probably still buy it when it comes out (just like I did with the last one when I didn't think too much to the singles from it) and I might belatedly pick up that recent 20th Anniversary re-issue of their debut too, not only for the sake of nostalgia, but the fact it's one of my favourite albums ever.

That Feist certification is a little random? Obviously I'm aware of how well 'The Reminder' sold in the UK despite the #28 peak, but 'Let It Die' took almost four years to actually chart (peaking at a lowly #121 in 2008 and for only 3 weeks). I wouldn't have pegged 'Let It Die' it as a trickle seller personally, given how 'The Reminder' contains her only hit ('1234') and is her best seller by quite some distance, but this is interesting nevertheless. Also, 'Electra Heart' had sold 89,676 up until 28th March last year - the week that 'Froot' came out.

I got 11/20. I'm not quite the Eurovision aficionado, so I'm happy with that score.

That's exactly why I stick to CDs for the most part. My mother has said about how it's not as cheap as it was years ago. I was disgusted by the price of Tame Impala's Currents in Urban Outfitters when I was in Edinburgh last week, £27 I recall? Conversely, I've found some amazing £5 bargains (Glasvegas, Young Fathers and The Cure) in their other branches.

Katy B's Honey has been brought forward to the 22nd (I got an email from Amazon about it just now), presumably because of the Drake release and the fact it's a quieter week for album releases.

Couldn't resist for £3.94 and free delivery, even if that's a little bit more than what I would've liked to have paid for it, but I suppose it fills a hole in the collection. The only other way they're likely to get them shifted is by sending a free copy with every purchase of 'Red Flag' :lol:

Skepta's Konnichiwa has just been confirmed to be out on May 6th. Not up for pre-order yet, but there are a couple of posts on his Instagram about it along with news articles on NME and Mixmag.

'Ratchet Behaviour' is the only track I've been skipping - though it could take me a few listens to appreciate I suppose... A strong album, nevertheless. I've belatedly picked up the deluxe version of 'Studio 1' this week, as Amazon seem to have a fair bit of leftover stock, presumably thanks to Parlophone's over-estimations (as Jay said as to why it's certified Gold) so hopefully that'll arrive in the post tomorrow.
