The Pop Factor: Season 1 • The Solo Men Auditions
Let's hope @Spiceboy can say "I'm still standing" when the eliminations are over this round...

What pop discoveries have you made this week?
I really wanted to include these two finds in this week's Pop TOTW poll, but sadly opted to omit them for more popular songs... I think @Mangø would be a fan of both of these!

Song Covers SoundClash #55
SoundClash returns with cover songs from the 21st Century going head to head with each other. Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) have paved the way for many artists since their time. ELO was formed out of Jeff Lynne's and Roy Wood's desire to create modern rock and pop songs with classical influences. Their music is characterised by a fusion of pop and classical arrangements with futuristic iconography. It's The Beautiful South vs. Lily Allen! You Decide! Here is what we have had so far in this series of SoundClash; Five vs. Robbie Williams in a battle of the Queen covers Alien Ant Farm vs. Fall Out Boy in a battle of the Michael Jackson covers Mad'House vs. Kelly Osbourne in a battle of the Madonna covers A1 vs Milk Inc. in a battle of the A-ha covers No Doubt vs. Weezer in a battle of the Talk Talk covers Scissor Sisters vs. Eric Prydz in a battle of the Pink Floyd covers Lolly vs. Céline Dion in a battle of the Cyndi Lauper covers Placebo vs. Maxwell in a battle of the Kate Bush covers Adele vs. Devlin feat. Suddenly the ETH era doesn't seem too bad at all, at least there was a trophy. Amorim out then. Oh and we can forget signing Cunha, Delap and Martinez now too.

The Pop Factor: Season 1 • The Solo Women Auditions
I'm not sure if I wish to remain anonymous or not, though if some choose not to remain anonymous in my category then that will narrow down the remaining entries from the category, reducing the options left that could be my own. I'll remain anonymous until a point when I feel I can reveal my artist, and it may come sooner than later...

As a United fan, I think this is Spurs time to get a trophy. I don't see it going any other way.

How very sad for the Baleghdean act that parachuted out of their plane in the hope of landing in a field somewhere in the northwestern part of the country. @diva thin muffin you will have to sent another act but this time come by submarine.

Well if they are, it would only be semi-anonymous as the identities of the categories they have chosen is revealed in the opening post. I'm hoping each round does have some kind of theme or purpose to it to make it more interesting to find the right entry.

Song Covers SoundClash #54
SoundClash returns with cover songs from the 21st Century going head to head with each other.
