  10. Having listened to the song before I created this poll I thought she belonged in a pop poll but WhoOdyssey considered her to be an indie artist still. Either way, we both accept there will be a crossover at times. Last week both polls featured Rachel Chinouriri.
  11. Thrown my three allocated votes to CARAVEL, DEBBY FRIDAY and KETTAMA.
  12. How many nations need to get their Ajanaedan visas then?
  13. Well I've gone for something Ajanaeda might enjoy, and it's possibly the first step into a new world of "Pop R&B" for Zanmatony. That's if it's not considered a veto which I can't think is obvious. Surprised nobody has sent this artist before though...

  17. I think 2002 was the year there was an all out peak in unique World Cup themed novelty singles popping up in the chart. The trend definitely had died out by the next World Cup in 2006. Elvis x JXL is the highlight of the other new entries, I have definitely played that a few times over the years. It's good for power walks I find.
  18. This week's rankings; Garbage – There's No Future In Optimism MARINA – CUNTISSIMO Shaboozey & Myles Smith – Blink Twice Dean Lewis – I Hate That It's True Louise – Borderline Calum Hood – Don't Forget You Love Me Sugababes – Weeds Anne-Marie – That's What You Get
  19. Which way will Alex be leaning today I wonder...
  20. Is merely playlisting a song on Radio 1 a surefire guarantee that a song has been chosen as a single, or would Radio 1 just opt to play a more recent/popular album track that had gone viral? I know in this case a music video was made for the song which is probably a good intent that it was meant to be pushed in some territories maybe.
  21. What did happen with them after this single underperformed at the time?
  22. Garbage does feature in the corresponding Pop Track of the Week poll if you want to throw a vote to that one there.
