United not getting their business done in time, and this might hinker any other possible striker recruits if they don't have the strength in depth behind them on the pitch. I expect United will go back with another offer once the transfer window reopens next week, but by then it may already be too late.

Seeing Spurs appoint a new manager this week made me wonder if Spurs are one of the most unreliable clubs for managers. How many have they got through in the past decade? 7 or 8 maybe? Not many other clubs can fare much better with the likes of Everton and Manchester United too, but who else has a big turnover of managers?

I can't see any other suitable releases to replace Nova Twins with this week, so we can continue with that but probably best to avoid Spotify/Apple Music exclusives for anyone who uses alternative platforms.
