Apologies @Julian_ for falling away from the thread, I meant to follow along closely but I got distracted. This year is certainly a very inconic for all sorts of songs getting to the top of the chart, and such a variety of genres too which is great to see. It might well be my favourite year of the Noughties for music, and I can't fault your choices in this countdown at all. Thank you for running it so well.

Given that the image hosting site Imgur has been blocked from functioning for users in the United Kingdom, as reported here, there are many members signatures which will now forever display the large purple error message "Content not available in your region". Could active members with such blocked images in signatures please update theirs to re-upload any images to another website or remove the image altogether to make for a more seamless browsing experience for members in the future as we don't want to be reminded of this restriction every day we browse BuzzJack. So for context I was the first to confirm for this theme, having had this track stored away as a potential for use someday. I knew the video was weird and the sirens in the song seemed well placed to make it stand out with some weird production. I guess I was still thinking along the lines of finding a commercially sounding entry and one with some vocals throughout too. After doing all the veto research I heard what the rest of you were offering and it did make me question my choice, I considered sending early dubstep from Knife Party to the contest but it felt a little cheap so I avoided altering it in the hope I could garner some fans and thankfully that seemed to have worked! If the theme does repeat one day (hopefully not) then I would seriously look into much less commercial dance music, even if it means less enjoyable by my own tastes!
