  1. Don't the charts get posted here, now? I've seen them cut down from the Top 100 to the Top 40 a few times, and then sometimes like today, there's just links to the Official page.
  2. Fingers crossed for Wombling Merry Xmas at No.1! :yahoo:
  3. Justin Bieber replaces... Justin Bieber! This truly is the End Of Days.
  4. Feels a bit too slow for me. I liked Gangnam Style, but I won't be troubling myself with this one again.
  5. Radio 1 made a right hash of the Wizard Of Oz song earlier... Oh, I can't post a link here :( But it's on my Toptellyfan Youtube channel, or search for "Ding! Dong! The Witch is Dead - How Radio 1 explained not playing it" on Youtube.
  6. Any chance you can include the positions 76-100 regularly on this page, please? The Officla Charts page redesign (a) doesn't state what is a new entry, climber, etc, and also all the advertising... slows..... it.... down.... :(
  7. I know I don't post here often, but I do love it when the whole of the Top 100 is posted here, rather than directing me to the Official Charts website :)
  8. I love that one too! :yahoo: BTW, I don't post here much, but am grateful to the OP when the full Top 100 are included, to save me going to the other site manually. Everything here is 'at a glance' whereas you have to scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, and then scroll some more to get to 76 onwards. Official Charts is such a badly laid-out site.

I'm a long-term visitor to Buzzjack and I recently interviewed Howard Jones about his forthcoming UK gigs in April performing Human's Lib and Dream Into Action. Is there any way I can post the links here, please? It says I have less than 20 posts so I can't post links. Cheers, Dom

This one's mine. I used to get the Pet Shop Boys CD singles from there on a regular basis while they still sold them as they ended up being the only place that did. I used to buy them all but then they stopped when I tried to get "Home And Dry" (March 2002) and they were a bit iffy by then anyway so I just stopped collecting them. It's odd to think that Woolies used to account for 25% of the singles sales in the charts at one point. Thanks for posting the full list, though. Apparently 15 high-store chains are rumoured to be going the same way in early 2009, according to "an expert", but I expect at least some of them will. However, no actual names were mentioned so they didn't speed up the situation.

He makes two types of music... country AND western... (thanks to The Blues Brothers for that one :) ) An ex of mine is a massive fan of his. Does nothing for me, though. On a different artist, does anyone know if The Attery Squash's Charlie Brooker Is Right About Everything got in the charts anywhere? It got an official download release on Jan 21st, so would've made last week's chart at the earliest but was nowhere to be seen. Thanks for any info.

S'ok, doesn't always take much. I spent most of last night dreaming that I was trying desperately to get to sleep. I think my head was just completely screwed yesterday :)

Hi, I still do comments on new tracks. Trouble is, lately there's not a lot new that's of interest - perhaps one or two a week - and since most tracks hang around for a long period of time I keep comments that I've made in the analysis for subsequent weeks, whereas even a year or so ago all those tracks would've been in one week and out the other :)

Scratch that. I was looking for Top 75, and now I see it says Top 100. D'oh! Ignore me :)

Is there some reason I've missed that the usual UK Top 75 chart isn't on here? I've double checked the topic list and it's not me going blind, and there's no other questions as to why it's not there either. Anyone know, please? Thanks.

I'd have been happier if she'd included the one song of hers on her 'best of' that really works for me - Identify, from the Stigmata soundtrack, and played over the closing credits. It's a wonderful haunting ballad and would've made her a big star over here, rather than leave her out in the wilderness as she has been, but her dumb record company didn't bother releasing it as a single :(
  17. Hi Mikey, Thanks very much for that. Yep, that's my site. I've just updated my sig to include it :) Cheers,
  18. Hi, I love the charts that appear on this forum but would it be possible to add in the positions from last week's chart? Also, one thing often missing is a dash between the artist and song title, since many a time there's this band featuring that singer with a weird name and then an overlong title, so the two tend to blur into one another. Ta.
