Well wasn’t she like 72 last week? She went 40-72 now back up to at least top 40 so it’s pretty clear she’s on heavy rotation at Amazon while Kylie’s being rested a bit

It just shows that Amazon is very unpredictable, they clearly pushed Kylie way more than anybody else last week and now they’re making up for it by pushing Gwen.

I’m fairly certain she will be in the first update, whether she can stay there is another story. I have a feeling she can do it

With Christmas falling on a Thursday that should see the traditional hits “struggle” a bit since the OCC don’t tend to account for holiday boosts in their estimates, I think she could easily get another week at #1

I was contemplating putting £1000 on her on Wednesday when she was 5/4 but just put £100 on, kicking myself that I could’ve been £1200 better off! The thing that put me off was she tended to slip as the week went on in previous weeks, I should’ve had more faith in her!

I can see the OCC wilfully underestimating Wham’s Thursday streams since they’d obviously rather have Kylie be Xmas #1 than a Wham hat trick (I will never forgive them for doing Mariah out of #1 by a few hundred copies against Ava Max in 2018!)

I wouldn’t count on it depending on who gets the Amazon exclusive next year. Can’t think of anyone (who could realistically get it) who would benefit from extra fanbase sales as much as Kylie though
