  1. I’ve heard one Sam Fender song and that was quite enough
  2. I somehow still haven’t heard this ‘Rein Me In’ 😭
  3. She must've just missed out on the top 100, was hoping she could make it
  4. I'm pretty sure they can? That is exactly what I'm doing lol, but again emphasising it is subjective. To me and, I imagine, most people under 45 and people who like pop music, Avril is the bigger artist.
  5. I could name a ton of Avril songs and quite a few Killers songs. I could name one Nirvana and one Led Zeppelin song lol. This is a very subjective question so I wouldn't make sweeping statements like Avril "was seen as a joke" because to a lot of people she's an icon
  6. Movies I've watched for the first time in 2026: Sinners (2025) Laura (1944) 8mm (1999) Neverwas (2005) Anaconda (2025) Eleanor the Great (2025) American Beauty (1999) Is This Thing On? (2025) If I Had Legs I'd Kick You (2025) Whistle (2025) Planet Terror (2007) Jawbreaker (1999) Scream 7 (2026) Send Help (2026) Wasteman (2025) Return to Silent Hill (2026) Locked (2025) Drop (2025) Chaplin (1992) Eve's Bayou (1997) Dead Man's Wire (2025) Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come (2026) Phantoms (1998) Hellraiser (2022) Capturing the Friedmans (2003) Thought Crimes (2015) Romy and Michele's High School Reunion (1997) Midnight in Paris (2011) Mildred Pierce (1945) Across the Hall (2009) Megafault (2009) Hokum (2026) Spun (2002) Clickbait/American Sweatshop (2025) The Devil Wears Prada (2006) The Devil Wears Prada 2 (2026) Feardotcom (2002) Backrooms (2026) Michael (2026) Don't Say a Word (2001) Clockwatchers (1997) But I'm a Cheerleader (1999) The Hand that Rocks the Cradle (1992) Scary Movie (2026) Been trying to see more of Brittany Murphy's movies! My favourite movie I've watched this year was probably Eve's Bayou. The worst is a tie between Phantoms and Megafault lol.
  7. I could've sworn Girlfriend went #1 for Avril. I voted Janet obvs!
  8. What does it matter to Spotify whether the music people stream is old or new?
  9. Perrie is doing too much I’m sorry. The point has been hammered home now, it feels like every month she’s saying something else about Jesy. I’m fairly neutral on this topic so please don’t come at me thinking I’m some Jesy stan x
  10. Same, dance music isn’t really my thing 😭 Happy she’s having some success with it though

Madonna #67 Praying she can hang on, it would be incredible to have 3 charting tracks from this album
  12. I actually really like the setlist! Very happy past life, twilight zone, dandelion and supernatural all made it, just wish I wish I hated you would’ve made it too. It’s understandable she wants to forget about sweetener tbh

She’s the perfect example of how a #1 is sometimes just a matter of luck and timing! Pretty shocking that the only #1 from 1989 is Is It Over Now

That doesn’t matter for chart purposes! Spotify charts yes but official charts they’re combined, which is why I’m thinking it’ll help her. If I Feel So Free could sneak in with less streams, who knows

I hope Madonna makes it into the first look! It’s streaming better than I Feel So Free was so far.

Backrooms was a brutal watch, and not in a good way! Don’t think the hype will last
  17. I assumed it was to do with time zones? I didn’t think it mattered if you played it on repeat (except for chart purposes)
  18. Where can one find chart spoilers now that Popjustice is no longer with us?
  19. Taylor’s song is very forgettable tbh. It’ll probably still go to #1 off name and physical sales alone but can’t see it sticking around
  20. Well she hadn’t done that when I’d posted that to be fair lol, I was/am enjoying the era but it seemed to slow right down after BYL was released
  21. It seems like they’re banking on Madonna’s status as a gay icon to sell this album and not much else!
  22. Yep, which is crazy when you think about. She may have had the best possible feature, but Madonna is the lead artist and hasn't had a hit since the 2000s, they really needed better radio deals, a video and physical singles for maximum impact. I can't complain too much because I do think the promo has been good for the album overall but the single's just kind of been left to flounder. Sabrina could've done more to promote it too I feel.
  23. Such a missed opportunity that they haven’t released the video yet, might as well wait for album release week at this point. I wouldn’t mind another promo single, I think she needs to keep the momentum up

Yep :( There’s an Odeon but it’s a bit out of the way to get to, so I’m left with Showcase and Vue, I usually just try to take advantage of discounts. Omniplex do an unlimited deal so I’m just waiting for that to open. I miss the Cineworld so much!

I’ve been going a lot less since my local Cineworld shut down last year, and the Omniplex that have bought it are taking a lifetime to reopen it. None of the ones close have to me have any good unlimited style subscriptions sadly, I miss being able to go all the time! Is This Thing On? (5th February) Whistle (14th February) Scream 7 (26th February) Send Help (2nd March) Wasteman (5th March) Dead Man’s Wire (23rd March) Ready or Not 2: Here I Come (24th March) Hokum (21st May) The Devil Wears Prada 2 (26th May) Backrooms (1st June) Michael (3rd June) Scary Movie (9th June)
