  1. Streams are so much higher this year. Here’s the top 10 from the same day last year, the day before this nothing was even over 300k. Only Miracle would be top 10 in today’s chart Spotify Chart Update (11/04) 01 01 Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding – Miracle (with Ellie Goulding) 342,736 02 02 PinkPantheress, Ice Spice – Boy's a liar Pt. 2 309,210 03 03 Miley Cyrus – Flowers 307,753 04 05 SZA – Kill Bill 270,405 05 04 Drake – Search & Rescue 259,337 06 06 Libianca – People 228,588 07 07 RAYE, 070 Shake – Escapism. 221,576 08 08 Taylor Swift – Anti-Hero 217,975 09 09 Lizzy McAlpine – ceilings 208,986 10 10 Ed Sheeran – Eyes Closed 206,083 They’re higher at the lower end too, #200 was only doing 59,956 last year compared to 76,785 today
  2. The pink vinyl is down to £14.35 on Amazon. Are any variants actually rare?
  3. Just heard this song for the first time in ages, whatever happened to the new music? It’s been almost a year
  4. It does feel like there’s very little hype for this Amy movie even compared to the recent Bob Marley one so I wouldn’t be surprised if nothing really comes of it
  5. The fact remains that FOR HER standards it’s a disappointment. She’s lacking a Don’t Start Now/New Rules/Levitating type hit so far this era and it’s not unreasonable to point that out
  6. She’s been struggling to get those this era too tbf
  7. I love These Words and am usually here for anything Natasha but that remix is godforsaken!
  8. Remember we can’t call Hozier’s song a real hit until it reaches 1 million daily streams! /s
  9. I don’t know why everyone’s being so pedantic when the person’s clearly just trying to say the album’s underwhelming and quite a creative comedown from Folklore and Evermore
  10. It’s called an opinion lol
  11. That “hate” was as contrived as anything she does and was purely for the aesthetic of the era
  12. Well I think it shows she’s not untouchable and that people are getting a bit sick of her act personally
  13. Her announcing her album during her speech seemed a little contrived, and her totally ignoring Celine Dion didn’t do herself any favours! Not sure how you missed it, it was everywhere https://amp.smh.com.au/culture/celebrity/th...208-p5f3dn.html https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertai...t-b2492285.html https://www.euronews.com/culture/2024/02/11...st-taylor-swift https://deadline.com/2024/02/grammy-awards-...1235814580/amp/
  14. I feel like she may have reached or be nearing saturation point by now though, if the backlash to the Grammys is anything to go by. Obviously she’ll still have huge numbers but it wouldn’t surprise me if they don’t quite reach Midnights levels.
  15. I’m not a fan of that or Bodyguard really but love II Most Wanted
  16. She must not be a “superstar” anymore either!
  17. No Sleeep posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
    Eh, that’s debatable

So really without Xmas songs only 2 or 3 songs per year really make it that high. No songs managed it in 2019 and only 1 did in 2020 which is interesting
  19. Well that’s just a straight up lie. 7. yes, and? (403,345) 8. we can't be friends (wait for your love) (382,701) 10. bye (355,685) 11. the boy is mine (317,101) 12. eternal sunshine (315,246) 14. don't wanna break up again (309,781) 15. supernatural (302,760) 17. intro (end of the world) (292,172) 19. true story (284,868) 28. i wish i hated you (234,530) 29. Saturn Returns Interlude (226,007) 33. imperfect for you (215,329) 38. ordinary things (feat. Nonna) (191,865)
  20. I still don’t understand what’s so crazy about a discussion
  21. To be fair Giorgio Moroder was 75 collaborating with Britney and Kylie and those songs were great!
  22. On a positive note Willie Nelson at 90 must be one of the oldest (if not the oldest) artists to get so high on the Spotify chart with “new” material, right?
  23. I know I said I was done replying but this is too tempting. Was Subtract an actual album to you? Do you realise Beyoncé’s lowest debuting track from Cowboy Carter has more streams (192,336) than the biggest track from Subtract (192,148)?
  24. Ed, whose last album only spawned 4 (!) UK Spotify top 200 entries on its release day. I’m pretty certain Beyoncé can “touch” him I’m done replying, you’re not making any sense whatsoever.
  25. Beyoncé just got the highest Spotify debut for an album of the year so far and the 6th highest debut for a woman ever, and that’s still not enough to be considered a “superstar” to you. I wholeheartedly disagree
