The fact remains that FOR HER standards it’s a disappointment. She’s lacking a Don’t Start Now/New Rules/Levitating type hit so far this era and it’s not unreasonable to point that out

I feel like she may have reached or be nearing saturation point by now though, if the backlash to the Grammys is anything to go by. Obviously she’ll still have huge numbers but it wouldn’t surprise me if they don’t quite reach Midnights levels.

On a positive note Willie Nelson at 90 must be one of the oldest (if not the oldest) artists to get so high on the Spotify chart with “new” material, right?

Ed, whose last album only spawned 4 (!) UK Spotify top 200 entries on its release day. I’m pretty certain Beyoncé can “touch” him I’m done replying, you’re not making any sense whatsoever.

Beyoncé just got the highest Spotify debut for an album of the year so far and the 6th highest debut for a woman ever, and that’s still not enough to be considered a “superstar” to you. I wholeheartedly disagree
