  1. Did you sign up to this forum specifically to downplay Beyoncé’s success? You have 4 posts and they all do that in some way. I really don’t understand it. You said you were expecting more from Cowboy Carter (even though it almost doubled the debut of her last album), and now you’re saying you never thought she was a “superstar”? Which is it?
  2. Dave and Olivia Rodrigo bigger than Beyoncé. Suuuuure. Lol
  3. So in your opinion only Adele, Baddiel, Skinner and the Lightning Seeds, Ed Sheeran, Dave and Central Cee are in the “big boy league”? Give it a rest
  4. Renaissance debuted with 3.8 million UK streams, Cowboy Carter debuted with 6.1 million. That’s much better than a “modest” improvement
  5. I posted the Renaissance first day numbers for comparison, Cowboy Carter is a big improvement. No need to keep moving the goalposts, in theory if having more tracks is responsible for the bigger numbers that should mean the streams are more spread out but that’s not the case, the top performing tracks on Cowboy Carter are doing much better than their equivalents on Renaissance. Break My Soul - 487k I’m That Girl - 322k Alien Superstar - 296k Compared to Cowboy Carter’s top three tracks: Texas Hold ‘Em - 658k Jolene - 467k II Most Wanted - 392k
  6. I’m not comparing like for like, Beyoncé is almost 30 years into her career so it’s not a fair comparison! You’re proving my point exactly, I’m not trying to turn this into a fan war but it seems it’s fair game to question Beyoncé’s success on here while Dua and Ariana can’t be touched for some reason. It’s very odd And btw 6 of those 27 tracks are interludes x
  7. Is calling someone a “sore loser” really that bad? People implying Dua Lipa and Ariana Grande weren’t doing amazingly have been called much worse and nothing has been said about that
  8. The least streamed track on Cowboy Carter was still 42k higher than the lowest streamed track on Renaissance But of course Buzzjack doesn’t care about that, the bias is so evident
  9. The numbers are much more competitive than when Renaissance came out
  10. The update isn’t out yet?
  11. The opposite of a collapse!
  12. Had a visceral reaction to that clicking sound in the left side of my headphones all throughout Blackbiird… never listening to it again! Which is a shame because it’s a good song, but who is responsible for that clicking
  13. Out an hour early on iTunes in the UK
  14. Wish they introduced this a year ago so we could see Kylie and Madonna getting one!
  15. It’s good to see We Can’t Be Friends taking off, it’s by far my favourite from the album
  16. Well it’s the absolute worst I can think of  there’s also Jack Harlow for a more recent example
  17. If it’s not Madonna, I’m not interested! And it can’t be because she’s not signed to Sony as far as we know?
  18. I mean haven’t some members been attacked for suggesting Dua and Ariana weren’t doing so great when their comeback singles started falling down the charts? Whereas Beyoncé is still at #1 on the official charts, has been for 3 weeks, still over 500k daily but her decline is being highlighted? I don’t know the exact numbers but I’m pretty sure Houdini and Yes, And quickly dropped by a lot more than 100k but any suggestion they weren’t doing so well was immediately stamped out on this forum (despite the general consensus on social media saying otherwise). It just seems like some artists are given a bit more grace by this forum than others
  19. Exactly I don’t know what hypothetical success has to do with it! I couldn’t give a flying **** what the GP thinks when they’re happy to let trash like Old Town Road go to #1! I suspect some Kylie fans are just being catty about Madonna’s recent output
  20. Why would anybody possibly say no? I love them both, it would be an iconic moment
  21. That “collapse” is still 150k above Ariana :kink:
  22. To compare it to Positions: 01 Positions 02 34+35 05 Motive (with Doja Cat) 08 Shut Up 09 Off The Table (with The Weeknd) 10 Just Like Magic 15 Safety Net (feat. Ty Dolla $ign) 16 Nasty 17 My Hair 18 POV 19 Six Thirty 23 Love Language 25 West Side 26 Obvious That is quite a decline, and Positions was already considered a big comedown from Thank U, Next
  23. Yeah well let’s wait and compare eternal sunshine’s numbers with positions and thank u, next, shall we? Apple Music seems underwhelming so far
  24. The oldest artist I can find (who’s still alive) is Ray Anthony, who had a #7 hit in 1953 and is now 102. The oldest overall that comes to mind is Vera Lynn (103). Can anybody else find any artists who lived longer?
  25. I can’t see Ariana getting close to #1 with anything from the new album. I feel like “yes, and?” pretty much killed the hype so she has no momentum going into it, and the top of the charts is very competitive atm anyway
