  1. Did you also point out Dua and Ariana’s much more drastic collapse? I got jumped on for suggesting they weren’t doing as well as expected, Beyoncé has far exceeded expectations and is still above 500k daily and it’s still not enough
  2. With what?
  3. Did you expect her to stay at #1 forever?
  4. I don’t quite understand his point when RuPaul’s target audience is pretty much teenagers at this point?

This Raye sweep feels so random. She hasn’t exactly dominated this past year

Yeah it’s just making her look like an industry plant

Raye should not have been in that category
  8. I’m not convinced she would’ve? Miley can be very hit and miss with chart success, her leads tend to do well but beyond that there’s no guarantee
  9. I’ve noticed people aren’t jumping to Beyoncé’s defence for declining slightly (while still being #1) compared to how they did when Dua and Ariana’s much more drastic declines were pointed out
  10. Let’s hope it can sneak back into the top 100 on Friday! Looking good so far
  11. No she’s definitely deserving that other person is just a hater
  12. With absolutely zero UK promo and no sign of her tour coming here. For what it’s worth, I did see it stocked in Asda yesterday which I was pretty surprised about. Like why bother if they have no plans to actually promote it? They’re not gonna sell themselves
  13. Usher didn’t perform anything from his entire new album that came out 2 days before the Super Bowl at the Halftime Show so I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t lol, especially since it’s more Sia’s song than hers
  14. Amazing for Beyoncé! What was Noah’s biggest streaming day? I wonder if she can surpass it
  15. That’s very interesting! I think I found the week you were referring to http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...t=0&start=0
  16. Sales were higher than AKA though. AKA opened at #41 with 2,060, TIMN #55 with 2,504.
  17. So annoyed he’s not coming to Glasgow. So many big artists are skipping here lately, not a fan of this trend!
  18. Thank god! I’m still so happy this made the top 10 considering it’s looking like that was its last chance to get there!
  19. Yeah that’s what I meant, the OP did ask for the longest gap between first and second hit. I know #100 isn’t exactly a hit but it is a chart entry at least lol
  20. Has anybody found a longer gap between first and second chart entry? I’d imagine there is, probably a Christmas song by an old one-hit wonder that only entered recently, but I can’t think of any
  21. Depends how you define “hit” Judy Garland only has 2 OCC chart entries and they’re 40 years apart - an #18 hit in 1955 and a #100 “hit” in 1995
  22. I kinda wish they’d went all out for week one with physicals, discounts, video etc. now and got it as high as it could go
  23. Set Fire to the Rain only had a low peak because literally everybody had already bought the album though, Skyfall was very hyped up as her first release post-21 and a James Bond soundtrack at that. I think people were expecting a “Hello” style smash and while it was a big hit it wasn’t at the level most people expected.
  24. Skyfall was considered somewhat of a commercial underperformance at the time IIRC
