Not complaining really because it’s got the best promotion for a Madonna lead since GMAYL but it really could’ve benefited from releasing the video the same day and having physicals ready to go, I reckon they could’ve got top 10… oh well

The issue also is that a lot of new music just isn’t that good. The idea that the charts should be filled with new music made sense in the physical era, but in the streaming era people aren’t going to exclusively listen to 2026 releases. It sounds like people want a Billboard Hot 100-style chart that’s more explicitly about marketing new artists than reflecting true popularity. A chart position is just a number, you can remove all the old songs from the charts and disadvantage them as much as you can but it won’t make new music any more popular in reality.

Well it’s the first song on the album, it put me off listening to the rest. I didn’t say anything about the album, just that one song, I’m happy to see her succeed regardless. Don’t jump to conclusions

I totally agree! Some people are acting like Sabrina is doing charity, while it might help Madonna out on the charts a bit I’m sure getting to collaborate with the literal Queen of Pop is a dream come true for Sabrina.

It’s only added 3k in 2 days, 2 weeks ago it took 11.8k to go top 40. I think it will squeak into the top 40 but it could be close

#28 for a Madonna lead in 2026 is incredible, a feature (no matter how big) has never been a guarantee of a hit especially nowadays

I don’t think we know where she is on Radio 1, I doubt she’d be straight in at the A-list there but incredible nonetheless. I have a good feeling about this era

I have absolutely no idea what to expect, if there were physicals I would be predicting low top 10. I’m going to predict it debuts low top 40, beyond that I really don’t know

Lady Gaga isn’t the type who necessarily peaks in week 1, Madonna is the definition of that kind of artist. But I do agree this won’t be an issue in the UK since it’s only 1 hour!

Is she being purposely sabotaged with these constant Thursday releases? She clearly cares about the charts or she wouldn’t have released 82 vinyl variants but she’s basically guaranteeing this song’s biggest sales day will go to waste

I hate their stubbornness in acting like the “top 75” is still a thing. It’s been a top 100 for a long time, and I don’t think anyone is kicking themselves that Madonna was 3 places off #75
