They were doing the same to me! So I tried Bet 365 instead and it let me put whatever I wanted on, even though the odds were a little shorter. I don’t understand why they put a cap on these things, I think the same happened when I tried to bet on Wham last year

Tbf that was 5 years ago my memory isn’t quite that photographic :kink: I know she’s never been a huge albums artist here besides from when she went more pop, I just felt she had more hype for this one due to the Pink Friday association and Gag City memes but that doesn’t always translate to success

I remember discovering it on YouTube circa 2008 and back then (and until about 2018) it felt like such an obscure little gem from a pop legend. I'm happy it's finally getting the success it deserves!

I think Last Christmas already getting to #1, albeit on a non-Xmas week, will take a lot of the steam out of any campaign for it to finally get the Xmas #1. I was going to put money on them at 5/1, but I just couldn’t rule out the possibility of a last-minute campaign either for The Pogues or some charity single. At this point I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if LadBaby came out of retirement for another last ever special Fairytale of Sausage Rolls lol.

I hope Madonna’s Santa Baby can chart this year, how amazing would that be for her to have three new chart entries in 2023! Also I hate that Destiny’s Child’s Christmas songs have seemingly been totally forgotten. 8 Days of Christmas used to get a lot of play on music channels, if only Spotify ever put it on their playlists

Well every year since then (except 2017) LadBaby have hogged the Xmas #1, so we really don’t know what could happen. Clean Bandit was the first year that really showed the power streaming has over Xmas #1, and if it weren’t for LadBaby I’m sure we would’ve had a lot more non-Christmas #1s.
