Wow it’s a streaming smash. #3 in the US and #13 in the UK on Spotify And yeah it makes me sad to see the lack of interest, I understand it’s kind of her own fault this past decade but she still has moments of greatness. She might be about to score another top 10 in her fifth consecutive decade in the US, I just thought the reaction would be a bit stronger

Popular proves that she doesn’t need it and she in fact sounds much better without it, on the few recent tracks that she doesn’t use it or it’s less obvious she sounds so much better. Live, I can understand I guess.

I have no idea why she insists on doing that, Madame X would be a much better album if she didn’t sound like a robot. I’m sure Max Martin wouldn’t let her do that to his tracks, I hope

The first few tracks were good, then it started playing me that evil David Kushner :puke2: Confirms my fears that this can easily be payolaed. I’d rather shuffle my own library thanks x

The only part I don’t like is the “money on top of me, money on top of her” part, it’s a bit irritating - my first time hearing a Playboi Carti song and tbh his voice goes through me lol

I mean a lot of those songs weren’t singles or weren’t promoted or she was the lead artist on them which, let’s face it, is not going to help. If she was featured on a Drake or an Ariana or whoever’s track (which she very well could have if she wanted) she’d have got a hit I’m sure

Tbh I don’t think it matters, Madonna could’ve gotten a high profile feature at any time over the past decade and got a hit but she didn’t bother. The fact she finally is now, I’m happy lol

I’m a lot more moderate than I used to be (always been more left, now closer to the centre). But now I feel like I sort of see through it all. I’m not one to go with the crowd so I don’t feel comfortable identifying as either when I know my views don’t fully align with either. I know we don’t really have a two-party system here but we might as well with the way things are nowadays.

Popular at #56 on iTunes I just downloaded, hope it picks up soon it should really be an easy #1 for her. Edit: doesn’t come up when I search for it, anybody else? I only found it on the charts. Up to #41 now

He has no stage presence imo, I just don’t see it. And to be a pop star you need some semblance of a voice, I love Britney and I’m the first to admit she’s not exactly Whitney Houston but she has a distinctive voice that sounds good… Lil Nas X’s just doesn’t to me (and I find his whole meme personality insufferable). Everybody’s entitled to their opinion I’m not stopping anybody from liking him

I hope this will be her eventual return to the Radio 1 playlist! They must really hate her if they ignore this, it sounds like such a hit and the streaming support is amazing

What’s the talent exactly beyond making memes? His vocals aren’t exactly amazing and he comes across as a bit of a Reddit edgelord

This is so much better than I was expecting and I’m really happy with the playlist placements… do we think Madonna might have another top 10 hit on her hands!? And this is what she can sound like when she isn’t auto tuned to within an inch of her life

He had a bigger budget and better collaborators but I still don’t think he has talent. The vocals on “That’s What I Want” are painful to listen to.

Won’t it take a few months to get vinyls out? I can’t blame them for rushing the single out as this kind of success is unprecedented so you never know when it’s going to dry up

Bingo ^_^ I did not think anyone took her seriously, they certainly didn’t when that Munch song was a thing (for all the wrong reasons). I feel like this is the case with a lot of “meme” artists that actually have very little talent (Lil Nas X is another one IMO)
