Set Fire to the Rain only had a low peak because literally everybody had already bought the album though, Skyfall was very hyped up as her first release post-21 and a James Bond soundtrack at that. I think people were expecting a “Hello” style smash and while it was a big hit it wasn’t at the level most people expected.

I don’t know why anybody’s surprised about JLo when her last album only reached #41 here! It’s a shame, the album is really good, but even at her peak she was never a very big album seller here

That’s a very British way to look at it. Beyoncé has always been much bigger than him in America (and I’d assume in most of the world)

Phew! Beyoncé’s lead can only increase she’s doing more than double what Dua is on Spotify today

I saw The Color Purple today and I really wish it did better. Great cast, and I can’t think of a movie that’s made me that emotional in a loooong time.

It’s the fact that it’s doing well enough to be #2 on there but absent everywhere else that I don’t quite get

That might be true but it doesn’t explain it getting as high as #47 in the chart update. And to my knowledge it hasn’t shown up on the Apple Music chart either

I think it must be “true” if it’s #47 on the chart update, its download sales haven’t been that great and streaming on other platforms is pretty non-existent. Amazon seems a bit… iffy, but if it’s helping Kylie get a chart placement then I’m not complaining :kink:
