  1. Holographic vinyl sleeve like the one for MDNA is available on her website. £50, vinyl not included… and I still bought it  https://shopuk.madonna.com/products/ray-of-...ic-album-sleeve
  2. Yeah her early career was actually pretty spiky Can’t Take Me Home (#13, 2000) - 470k M!ssundaztood (#2, 2001) - 1.88m Try This (#3, 2003) - 554k I'm Not Dead (#3, 2006) - 1.43m Funhouse (#1, 2008) - 1.35m Try This’s sales are from February 2019 and it still hasn’t gone 2x platinum so not a great catalogue seller, it definitely stands out as a lull in her discography but she’s never truly flopped here. Can’t Take Me Home did pretty well all things considered but is obviously overshadowed by everything that came after I think I overestimate how big Trouble and God Is a DJ were, probably due to how much they’ve been used in the media (Mean Girls!). Here they did alright but in the US the singles definitely flopped, only Trouble scraped in at #68 which was pretty unimaginable after Missundaztood
  3. Surprised to see True Love sneak in, that didn’t feel very big at all. I guess the early 00s hits are at a big disadvantage sales-wise though. Feels really unfair to compare anything released in the last 10 years to anything from that time period. Walk Me Home too, I don’t know anyone who would think of that before Just Like a Pill for example!

I wasn’t counting Good Time, I assumed it was relatively forgotten, kinda shocked to see it has 455m streams and 20m more than I Really Like You!

Beating the two hit wonder allegations! I saw her in Glasgow recently and she was amazing, so underrated

Did anybody else get tickets today? I somehow managed to get second row centre for £98 :yahoo:
  7. I thought it was really underwhelming honestly, I just rewatched Madonna’s performance and yeah, that’s definitely my opinion. I’m not even blaming Rihanna but staging wise, fashion, colour, lack of guests, it was just lacking. As well as the rapid fire setlist (she really should’ve cut it down and done longer songs), it just didn’t have that spectacle-y feel the halftime show usually does even when I’m not a fan of the artist. Perhaps her first (and last again for a long time?) performance in years shouldn’t have been at such a high stakes event. Idk. Happy for the people who enjoyed it but not my cup of tea. If the pregnancy was supposed to be the big reveal I think it could’ve been done a lot more strategically too, me and my friend spent the show debating “is she pregnant or..?”. I don’t know why she would agree to do this show considering performers aren’t paid, unless she had bigger plans that have been scrapped which I feel may be the case.

What was it supposed to be?

Are Wet Leg all high or something? What a weird bunch
  10. I don’t think I’ll be getting these since I already have all of the UO releases (well, one copy of each!) but I really like the colours… if I wasn’t so broke from Madonna and Beyoncé tickets it’d be tempting lol

I mean I don’t personally care but isn’t that an automatic fine?

Did she just say sh*t? Watershed?

I wish people could express their disgust about society’s paedophilic beauty standards without resorting to attacking a woman for trying to slow down the aging process. I love Madonna, she has the freedom to make her own decisions, but I also find it sad and disgusting that there is so much value put in youth that makes people resort to unnecessary surgery to fight a natural process
  14. I don’t take much she says on Instagram at face value so won’t get my hopes up lol. Would be amazing if she was though. I wouldn’t be mad if she just released things with no promo at all just whenever she feels like it (sorta like Hold Me Closer lol)
  15. It’s nice to see Life’s About to Get Good was at least bigger than her #10 and #11 ‘hits’
  16. Wow The Hardest Stone is definitely my favourite and might become one of my all time Shania faves. I love the album overall, tbh it sounds more like something you’d expect from Kylie than Shania but it works really well.

I really hope Shania can get the #1, she’d have number ones albums in three decades (90s, 10s and 20s)
  18. Flatline and Back in the Day
  19. C’mon Back in the Day
  20. Did It Again deserved better. She’s been quite unlucky chart-wise, what with Waka Waka missing the top 20. What a shame about Illegal flopping, they didn’t really try with that era post-Hips Don’t Lie though did they? And quite surprised to see she has so many more US charting singles than UK, I always felt like she was slightly bigger here. Although I suppose a lot of those US-only entries are post-2014 Spanish tracks so if you look at the English hits only that’s probably still true
  21. This is a pretty impossible task and I’ve omitted A LOT that I would love included but I think this would be a pretty crowd-pleasing setlist 1. Celebration 2. Music 3. Don’t Tell Me 80s section 4. Open Your Heart/Express Yourself 5. Material Girl 6. Papa Don’t Preach 7. Holiday Ballad Section 8. Crazy for You 9. Take a Bow 10. You’ll See 11. Frozen Latin section 12. La Isla Bonita 13. Medellín 14. Deeper and Deeper 15. Don’t Cry for Me Argentina (Miami Mix) Religious section 16. Like a Virgin 17. Erotica (interlude) 18. Rescue Me 19. Like a Prayer 20. Ray of Light Encore: 21. Hung Up
  22. I can’t stand the remix personally so hoping for the original, I think it’d be a great opener!
  23. I hope we have a ballads section - Rain, The Power of Goodbye, Crazy for You, Take a Bow, You’ll See, Ghosttown - any of those and I’d be very happy

You’re kidding, that’s basically what I paid for section 111 row U. It was a panic buy but with the catwalk and everything it might be good. They offered me 112 before that but I thought it’d be more of a side view… idk, I’m not a fan of the O2’s layout tbh

I checked again out of curiosity and it was offering me £225 for section 420… er, no thanks!
