I found it pretty uncalled for of them to try and downplay Madonna’s achievements and quite sexist to compare her to every other prominent female artist of the 90s… the conversation (which was unnecessary in the first place) was about Madonna and Kylie, I don’t see why Celine, Mariah, Whitney, Janet etc. had to be brought into it too. I’m a fan of all of those artists and the constant comparisons are tiresome

Who is being rude? Anyone can post whatever they like but I don’t see why it’s necessary to compare the chart success of pretty much every other female artist who existed in the 90s to Madonna!

Popular is the bigger hit, Padam Padam is Kylie’s achievement alone, it all balances out imo and the comparisons are unnecessary. I’m just very happy both of them are getting top 10s in the 2020s

I’m not the biggest Ariana fan but I don’t see anything wrong with utilising a big fanbase. Pure sales still matter more than a lot of people want to believe

I can’t see it making it this week sadly with it being stuck at #11 on Spotify, its streams are high but there’s more competition. It’s frustrating it’s being blocked by Cruel Summer and Water, they have enough weeks in the top 10 already

I need this to be her 64th top 10. It’s been 15 years since she’s been in the top 10, we need to change that! We need a download campaign or something, 138 copies away from #10 is so frustrating, but we didn’t think she’d be reset last week

Ariana did better than I expected but we’ll see how it holds up once the curiosity streams tail off
