    I hope they release it on cd/7” vinyl like they did with Cold Heart, might help push it to number 1 at some point

     

    I definitely hope we get some remixes or extended version this week, maybe the demo version even, I would download every single one on iTunes and Amazon lol. Maybe they’re waiting to see how it does, promo has been excellent otherwise

    I hope Madonna and (or) her team are aware of the sales here so far and how the different variants have created an interest for this album. She’s definitely still capable of getting another #1 when her next studio album drops but they should really look at getting as many variants out there as possible.

     

    This album is doing great so far though. Remix albums aren’t ones I go back to a great deal but as a collectors kinda item I’m tempted to get a copy of this. If she does remain at #2 how many #2 albums would that be for her. Would it be her fifth or am I missing one?

     

    It would actually be her 7th! :o

    Like a Prayer is my fave! Act of Contrition is great and works even better in this context, it’s very creepy lol. Don’t Cry for Me Argentina is very creative. I’m finding the second half of the album a chore to get through though, modern remixes (well, post-2000) seem so uninspired, bland dance music. Medellín is the exception

    the leak feels very planned - there's no way in hell this could leak so easily and all the press outlets that have heard it?

     

    The leak reminds me very much of the 2007 'Gimme More' leak tbh - we all heard of the song and then it just appeared online.

     

    Grindr tweeting about it kinda confirmed it for me lol. A bit like the Stupid Love leak. I’m just glad there seems to be a plan.

    Blackpink are lucky to scrape the top 40 half the time I can’t see them delaying it JUST because of that, surely they’d want to avoid the VMA week instead? Unless there’s plans we don’t know about

     

    I still think it’s coming at midnight US time, the original “source” that said it was delayed was just some random on ATRL

    Billboard have apparently changed the impact of paid downloads on the Hot 100 so it could hinder its debut slightly. Would be a shame if it was going to be #1 but missed out because of this change.

     

    I hate that. Paid for sales should always have the biggest impact on the chart.

    So is she retiring after this to study at Minnesota Uni, or is she testing the waters and seeing how she feels?

    I’m so happy she’s doing this proving Larry and all the fans who said she would retire without the conservatorship wrong. It’s so obvious that was never the case, she might never do another gruelling 4-year residency again but I could more than live with that!

    30. Joni Mitchell - Both Sides Now

     

    It was so emotional watching her perform this at the Newport Folk Festival yesterday, her first time on stage since an aneurysm in 2015 almost killed her. I cried! I love the relationship she has with Brandi Carlile, it’s very reminiscent of Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett

    Spain have announced BBC will host if Ukraine doesn’t and the Hydro has announced events for next year but almost all of May is empty

     

    Just reserved a hotel next to the Hydro for the 13th and 20th of May next year :P They were insanely expensive a few weeks ago. And not that it means much but some hotels have blocked out 2 or 3 weeks in May next year. I can always cancel if I’m wrong! Lol
