I hope Love Sensation can give this a bump, the difference is so minimal at the lower end of the chart that a few hundred extra sales would really help. Also Madonna getting 4 chart entries and possibly 3 top 40s from this album is incredible, no one could’ve predicted that.

Could’ve probably went top 10 officially if they’d co-ordinated the physicals. Ahh well. Still holding my downloads until they ship as it’ll plummet from here. Great start though

I love it but it is a little frustrating that so many iconic collaborations have been “wasted” on remixes! I mean Mariah and Ariana (twice!), Zara and Robyn (again twice!), Kylie and Dua. Don’t get me wrong I’m so grateful we’ve got it but I do wish they’d held out and done a big original collab on the deluxe edition and given it the full single treatment.

God I really hope the OCC do credit Kylie or else I reckon there will be mass cancellations

Well exactly, I feel like everyone is totally disregarding the whole article because of one error and because they want any excuse to act like the article is nonsense. In reality the chart rules are so convoluted and have such little relevance in culture anymore that it’s no surprise journalists can’t get their heads around the rules, we barely can!

Am I right in thinking that only 3 physical formats can count towards the chart? So the 3 CDs that we already have mean there probably won’t be any more physical formats as I imagine most people will have just bought all 3

Yeah this has been a big grower for me! Kiss Me, Nowhere, Nobody and Stay are my highlights, but the others are growing on me too.

Yeah that’s shocking! She really focused on the UK this era (not that it did her much good here either), I wonder if they just failed to stock it much in America. Pretty unbelievable to go from #1 to #10 to #131!

To be frank it charting at #56 or not charting at all won't make a difference to visibility. Without physicals I just can't see it getting very high, it is a highly anticipated collab but it's also a remix of a song that's been out for months already and if a brand new Sabrina Carpenter collab could only get to #29 without physicals I can't see this challenging that. I would rather it get a higher peak a month from now than 2 just alright weeks. In an ideal world it would take off on its own and we wouldn't have to worry about a few thousand downloads, but obviously there's no guarantee!

No I really think we should wait. We don’t want a Real Groove situation (which let’s be honest is more likely than lightning striking twice with another Padam, it is a Madge collab but nothing is a guaranteed hit in the streaming era)

Well wasn’t Mariah added to Big Energy the week after it charted? Also everyone else can do what they want but my downloads will absolutely be single shipping week! We’re guaranteed at minimum 5k CDs will be sold, hopefully and potentially a lot more, I really don’t think it’s worth going all guns blazing for a #72 peak if we’re lucky next week.

I think the UK, US, AUS thing is just an excuse to release 3 different versions I don’t think there’s any actual differences besides colour, we can buy all of them anyway lol

Ordered all 3! Trying not to get my hopes up too much but I have high hopes for this on the charts, I mean we have the solo and the collab, 3 CDs, Kylie’s absolute monster fanbase when it comes to physical formats… another top 40 is coming at least I hope!
