  1. How does auto play work exactly? I only really play my own library on shuffle so I don’t think I’ve ever had anything forced upon me
  2. I’m absolutely in love with this  it’s from the same sessions as Born To Make You Happy and I Will Be There apparently and it really reminds me of the latter. Quite hard to believe it got cut from the album! According to a member on Exhale there’s a BOMT 25 re-release coming, so this may be a part of that. It does sounds very high quality for a 26 year old song that was left on the cutting room floor so I’m cautiously optimistic they have plans to release it! BOMT has always been my favourite Britney album, I’m so happy we have this and a little mad it took so long! LRLKS9q0RIY
  3. I get that feeling too, but god knows why, it’s not 2019 anymore he’s hardly a big draw and Taylor Swift surely hardly needs him!
  4. I don’t feel like Fortnight has had much impact - obviously the first week numbers are huge! But it seems like more of a Cardigan than an Anti-Hero
  5. I’m honestly quite shocked all we’re seemingly getting from this era is 3 singles (2 videos). Hold On To Now’s release was so botched it hardly even counts as a single, the era was basically done the day the album was released. It’s really not like BMG to just release the album and move on, the Disco and Golden eras seemed to go on forever. I don’t know but she did very well to get a top 10 and a top 20 hit, would’ve been nice to see them try to keep the momentum up.
  6. I’m kinda not surprised it’s not looking to have much longevity I still haven’t heard it anywhere
  7. Wouldn’t Taylor’s own monthly listeners be a good enough indication?
  8. Happy for Taylor fans I guess but this monopoly stranglehold she has over the industry is getting tiring
  9. I would bet my life savings that Taylor has a plethora of tricks up her sleeve to guarantee a #1 single this week. Guarantee it
  10. Not giving a 5 star review doesn’t make someone a hater.
  11. I imagine 99% of people aren’t savvy/don’t care enough to seek the leak out tbh
  12. I mean if I had to compare them single by single Single 1: Roar vs Houdini Single 2: Unconditionally vs Training Season Single 3: Dark Horse vs Illusion Katy wins by a mile
  13. I’m sorry is there a separate chart and rules for “viral tiktok songs” that I’m unaware of
  14. I think it’s just especially more noticeable given how high standards are for hits these past few months. We’ve had Noah Kahan, Beyoncé, Djo, Hozier, Teddy Swims etc. all getting 600-700k+ days consistently recently and Dua’s three new singles just haven’t reached those heights as I’m sure a lot of people were expecting her to after Future Nostalgia. I’d compare it to Rihanna coming back with Russian Roulette after GGGB (which also got 6 weeks top 10 in the downloads era when songs didn’t stick around as long) and it was considered a bit of a disappointment.
  15. I still can’t get into Good Luck Babe, I’ve listened 3 or 4 times and still remember nothing about it. Red Wine Supernova was much more instant for me
  16. Why is it a problem to have that opinion though?
  17. If you set the bar at making the Spotify top 200 then nothing by a major artist can ever be considered an underperformance
  18. It probably also has to do with the lack of promotion Tension has had here compared to Disco. Her focus on America this era is still pretty baffling to me
  19. The monoculture is back!
  20. I like Red Wine Supernova but can’t get into the rest of her music, that sounds the most like a hit to me so I don’t really get why Good Luck Babe is the one taking off!
  21. What makes everyone think this Mark Knopfler will be #1 though? His last album only made #17 and he’s never had a #1 before.
  22. I have literally never heard of that person in my life
  23. Beyoncé has the physical release this week I think she has it in the bag. I can’t lie though I was hoping it’s streams would’ve held up better than they have
  24. Looks like Perrie’s debut single is going the way of Jesy and Leigh-Anne’s
  25. To be fair it’s pretty on par with Jesy’s debut (#12 with 244k). Much stronger than Leigh-Anne’s (#54 with 130k). We’ll see how she holds up though the rest of the girls singles pretty much freefell, I have a feeling she’ll hold up a bit better
