Gladiators
Hang Tough has been used a lot more than I remember last series. It is very much a test of how long you can hold on, isn't it? 😄 I was rooting for Shaun purely for the story of him bettering his dad but Josh put in a very good showing.

December 10 - Angel
It depends on what you want from them. It'd hardly be any better if they were media trained to within an inch of their lives, and I like the fact that they're not (or at least it seems like they're not). If we're going to emphasise the importance of authenticity with pop acts and the like, then we're going to have to accept that it's going to be a bit messy. But either way, he is 17 and he does seem a bit more boisterous than the others - in the show he said he'd been kicked out of school a few times.

The Apprentice • Series 20
I kind of get why they thought it was rude but it's the sort of thing Lord Sugar would come out with (and they wouldn't have an issue).

Gladiators
I wonder if there is an alternative to drafting someone in mid-way through because someone's injured. It'd make for a slightly downbeat show if they gave the contender a free pass to the final. I'm not sure about some of the events. Suspension Bridge & Duel and Atlaspheres & Crash Course seem to do very similar things. I know they don't use them in the same episode but still.

The Apprentice • Series 20
Karishma carried her team. I feel Harry was only made PM as a potential scapegoat if they lost. Lawrence is lucky that his track record in the process is decent enough, as that would otherwise be an easy firing. I'll be surprised if either him or Levi last much longer.

The Floor
I thought that in between shows, they were able to do some revising? I guess they'd only do that for subjects that they thought they were likely to face, which is easier to work out earlier in the run.

Britain's Got Talent • Series 19
I enjoyed tonight's GB act. Never know what to make of knife throwing acts really, it feels like we've had a lot.

The Apprentice • Series 20
Our first triple firing since 2017. Carrington's oversight on not checking if the food is edible or not is probably what did it for her. The corporate clients are never going to be fully satisfied if they put the candidates fully in charge of the food.

Britain's Got Talent • Series 19
Maybe something's in the air but I'm enjoying this series a lot more than last year. The magician was really good and I really enjoyed the guy who did the poem too.

December 10 - Run My Way
Yeah, it re-entered at No.68 (6,676 sales), largely due to physical sales (2,192 CDs, 1,325 vinyl singles). Interesting article. I mean, it's a tricky one because there has not been a boyband (new one to come out of the UK) to get this much backing since streaming came into play, so they don't really have a comparator. At least they're not expecting #1s or anything. Whether it works, only time will tell.

The Apprentice • Series 20
It was nice to see a team do well not just because they were less crap. It was one instance of them deserving a treat.

Gladiators
I guess he would have been less exhausted too, having only participated in half of the show.

Suspension Bridge seems to be a mishmash of Duel and Collision. I much prefer Unleash and Destruction when it comes to the new games as they at least do something a bit different to the others.

Britain's Got Talent • Series 19
I preferred it like that too.

Britain's Got Talent • Series 19
Enjoyable episode, I thought the GB was great. There were some other acts that had a nice idea but could have been expanded. The continuity across the episode was interesting as they don't usually have that for auditions. It's normally just a load of auditions from different days sliced together.

Britain's Got Talent • Series 19
Are these actually confirmed or just a guess? Would they release the tickets this early?

Series 19 begins tonight!

Waterloo Road
With Joe and Mike, I kind of get it because they seemed to be arguing most of the time we saw them on screen even before Mitch came into the picture. Having said that, where I thought it was out of character for Joe was with how keen he was to foster Schuey in the first place.

The Masked Singer UK • Series 7
It's not a singing contest but I will be surprised if a non-singer does actually win. I do feel this series could have done with some more "moments" from the professional singers.

I like Everest though the tilt probably needs some adjusting. It doesn't really allow for using your feet at all. Interesting episode this week. Nikki's height seemed to disadvantage her, plus I thought the way they just let her walk through the last part of Gauntlet was a bit odd. Duel was fascinating with 3 of them basically breaking the roles.

Dermot did the most recent Christmas special, though I appreciate you may not have known.

The Masked Singer UK • Series 7
Keisha is the fifth female winner (out of seven) and the fourth to be from a band. First ever non-white winner too. 🏆

The Masked Singer UK • Series 7
I'm more surprised they weren't able to make the link with Cat Deeley. But obviously he was on the panel earlier in the series so I can see why they wouldn't have considered him.

The Masked Singer UK • Series 7
Somehow not remotely surprised that Conkers beat Toastie. 😄

The Masked Singer UK • Series 7
Nice to have Will Young back - he didn't really get much of an opportunity to showcase his vocals last time.
