I think at a festival, you could get away with one new track just to give a different flavour, but otherwise no, I don't think that's what people are there for.

I caught it today. I have a lot of love for the franchise anyway. I actually really enjoyed it. The core storyline of Bonnie struggling to make friends hit close to home and I really liked the little comedic bits. Loved the bit with the Buzz Lightyears flying.

Yeah, when I was a child there were other avenues available to me (even if I didn't take them). What other avenues are available to kids today? Don't adults only ever complain about kids knocking about skate parks or whatever? If they don't have many places they can go, what do you expect?

Message boards/forums are within the social media umbrella, no? Prior to me turning 16, I would say I had spent a lot of my time on forums. More so than Facebook/Twitter.

I much prefer the acapella version of that Cliff Richard song, particularly when the choir takes over in the second half. Remarkably it allowed me to forget about the clunkiness of the lyrics!

It's not linked to the Southport events but there's been another case of people starting riots over something that has happened. It feels like it's getting worse.

Did anyone end up going to the final two shows? I've seen some clips. Mikey was there but not for the full show.

I remember my primary school doing a whole thing for the Jubilee in 2002 but I was oblivious to what was going on. I was aware of the big football tournaments since the 2002 World Cup though. In terms of a big news thing, I'm thinking Michael Jackson's death in 2009 (the day after I turned 12).

I think if I was a) living in London and b) wasn't so set on finding a role specifically in communications (because that's where I sit best) I'd absolutely give this a crack. I don't know if I'm a data analyst - I'm more of an "audience behaviour analyst" if anything.

Can't agree with that. Sydnie was, for me, one of their best and probably the best of the solo singers.

Interesting results. Some acts placed lower than I expected (particularly Matty and Ted). I just had a feeling that the winner would be one of the eventual top 2. Not an act I've been passionate about but I can see why people plumped for them.

Thoughts on who might win? It's the most varied final lineup they've probably ever had. I'd love Ted to win.

Music is way more accessible now than it was 23 years ago. It's not hard to believe that they would have found another 8,000 fans in that time.

I'm really glad all the remaining teams managed to complete the race. I'm glad that Jo & Kush one but I'd have been happy with either of them.

Having watched Josh on The Last Leg over the last 12 years (plus all the other panel shows he's done) I never would have seen him doing Strictly. I'm guessing Johannes' role is more of a social media thing?
