I'm warming to Dan. His point to Jake about everyone being out for themselves wasn't popular but he wasn't far wrong. I wish he defended Kas a bit more. With the treatment of Kas and the general thing of talking behind people's backs and targeting them, I really should hate this show, but I don't. I did watch it. It was nice to see how it came about and some behind the scenes stuff. And I didn't pick up on that with Corden. If he did seem like that, it's probably just because he's a bit awkward in general. Nothing wrong with that.

The Welsh accent thing is certainly different. I'm almost more interested in whether she can keep the accent up than what she's saying. Armani was beginning to dig a hole for herself by trying to plant stuff rather outwardly. I think any player who's rather open about "I'll be good at the game cos I'm smart etc" gets a target on her back, hence Yin.

It annoyed me when, in some interviews leading up to the show on Wednesday, people kept asking Rob Brydon what happens. I'm not interviewer or journalist and even I know you're not getting an answer.

I don't think the f word has ever really been heard on G&S, has it? They certainly gave us free reign to love to hate Sonia 😅 but I enjoyed it. Nicely tied up the loose ends. Nice twists and turns which meant it was less predictable.

It's interesting because in 2021/2022 it seemed she was on the way up, what with the John Lewis advert and getting a Graham Norton Show slot. None of that charted though, and she seemed to be marketed as an Amy Winehouse/Adele type. I get the impression she feels more like herself now.

Digital Spy criticises everything within 10 seconds and then has the audacity to criticise today's generation for not having much of an attention span. It was nice to see a big flashy Saturday night vehicle. At least in Q4, I feel like ITV1 barely has any. I didn't grow up with it but I guess two episodes will give ITV an idea of the viewer response. Internal data rather than what people on Twitter are saying! I enjoyed it. The forfeit would have been even funnier had it been one of the guys but it was fun.

I think the high placement in 2018 was helped by her performing it on X Factor.
