I see. I don't know why they used playback on an acoustic set, it's not like that's out of his range at all. Maybe it's a label thing but I find it unusual - maybe I don't know enough about the inner workings of the music industry.

Kian definitely seemed to mime the performance of Queen of My Heart they did on the TV special they did in 2011 ("For The Last Time"). I suppose there are cases when they would need to use playback but it seems to be most times, it's almost as though they don't trust them to nail the vocal. To be fair, Kian's solo in Hello My Love when they performed it on All Round to Mrs Brown's was very off-key. Where did they use playback during the acoustic set? I've seen a few clips but I don't think I've seen that one.

I hope they let them sing it live without having to use playback for Kian and Nicky. I notice that with a lot of their performances of Hello My Love they did on TV. They used to get them to mime a lot back in the day, I don't know why. Pretty much every TV performance they did of Us Against the World was them miming to a track (it wasn't the single but it was something they had recorded). I've seen the clips of the Queen medley they've done on tour, and Kian does actually have a good upper register. Nicky has a nice tone to his voice but I'd have thought with several years away he'd have been able to better control his vocal.

I do like the song although I think the key change could have been better executed. A TV special or something closer to the album release date would probably help.

The current chart rules won't let it chart high anyway. The song's a few years old I believe.

There's a performance on The Graham Norton Show tomorrow which will help, and I'm sure they've got all sorts of promo lined up.

They didn't describe it as a winners single. There was no mention of "winners single" on the show itself. It was described as "song to win". Of course they could have just not overcomplicated it...
