Kaiser Chiefs performed their new song at the beginning of the show a few weeks ago (Hole In My Soul). As did Louisa, Take That and Robbie a few weeks ago (Mixed Signals).

Out in the summer, I believe.

Do we ever get any figures for the DVD charts, bar a round-up in an article every now and again? I'm interested particularly to see which stand-up comedy DVDs for instance are the best sellers.

I think Busted are on Xtra Factor. They had Kaiser Chiefs on last week. I don't really think they'll have them on the main show, even as part of the group performance.

There's a twist regarding the results, which is why they can only fit one guest in, presumably. Apparently they're going to announce a bottom three then open the voting again.

Well, he was interviewed on This Morning and a short clip of the music video was shown.

James Arthur at #1! I didn't expect that at all. It'll be interesting to see if he can hold onto that for the whole week. If so, and his streaming is decent, he could get a #1 officially which would be the first a male solo act from The X Factor has done so since Zayn with Pillowtalk, although if you wish to discount him as he was in 1D, it'd be the first since his own winners single "Impossible" (excluding that, Olly Murs' Troublemaker in 2012).

Maybe people who like the song? That was nearly three years ago. I'm not defending him but it's in the past now.

Songs that had a huge week one sale and then dropped out of the chart pretty quickly. A recent example I can think of is Band Aid 30 which sold 313k in the first week and was out of the charts within two months.

Sam Bailey currently at #277. Well, it's a lot higher than some thought!

I wasn't even aware that Sam Bailey released something new. Her last released single (a cover of "With You" from Ghost) only managed #184 in the official chart, so no doubt they'll be hoping for a better position. Calum Scott's cover of Dancing on My Own was initially released independently but a few months later he signed a major record deal and the song subsequently became a hit so you never know.
